hai gum change mtr to get to goo ma's place.... yup, staying at goo ma's house for 2 nights....

then went to chui wah for lunch hehee the fish ball noodle is always the best... :D then went to fix the watch la..... change ha oil dol 1xxx!! crazy.......... yau yiu wait wor.. so ma fan... then went to order cons and then went over to tst..... did a little walking around then went for dinner @ dou heung but not for hot pot.. d food ho ho mei a.. .thanks for the dinner... hehe..... we ordered too much la....

goo ma's house is much cleaner to be honest.. hahaah but also much colder......

hehe can walk to apm.. so funny... on the way there had some take out dim sum and someone got his nice black label shirt dirty.... aiya!! luckily we could wash it off afterwards....

so nice to see 2nd luv again, and of course j, cc, and k! :D lotsa chatting...... we'll chat more @ macau and dinner and lunches.... and then we split to get ready for mr. ralph's wedding dinner......

congrats to the new copule mr. & mrs. lei.. hehee, ralph's chinese name is sooo funny... i couldn't help laughing everytime i hear them say his name... :P dinner was not bad the food i mean.. but no games no fun... it was just a eat eat eat then leave dinner..... haha....

didn't get off the plane till 11 something last night a.... sun fu uncle waited for us for so long.... luckily the luggages came out pretty quick....

1st thing in the morning hai get some maxim's breakfast and shop for cleaning stuff in park n'shop.. hahaa.... then went to meet up with l-mo... thanks for bringing us to the yummy beef brisket place! i've heard of it but have never tried it... and didn't know you have to line up for it like everything else in jp... but it was definitely worth the wait... it was so good.. :D and thanks for the treat, hehee next time its on me!

afterwards went contact lens shopping.. the one i used to go to doesn't have the deal anymore but still the cheapest i found..... so maybe i'll go back tomorrow or something to order la..... continued walking east from central to causewaybay... walked around there and we had our own dinner plans.... the hotpot place was good! (of course, meeting the people was good too..... its been a long time since i see sgg+ la..) the interesting thing is they boil desserts too! those custard buns le..... sweet ga ma... they put it in the pot as well to cook.. hehe but they taste good ga wor.... i was sooo amazed.. :P

still tired today.... tmr will see my 2nd luv!

last day @ jp....

first thing was to go to the other hotel to buy the airport bus ticket..... then walked aroud ikebukuro and ate "mo dik ga" noodles~ yea... we went like 10mins before it opens so not much of a line up heheheeee, the noodle is great but like all other jp noodles the soup is a bit salty lo.... we also ordered dumplings, those are good too! :)

last min. shopping.. someone got another bag... and at tokyo hands we found m's chocolate! so happy hehee bought 2 for her... and then also had the green tea ice cream but it wasn't that good.... then we went back to the hotel to get our stuff.. and taxi to the airport busstop.... wah so cheap the taxi only 740 yen.. hahhaa... and we got ppl to help us move the luggages too.. :P

got to the airport early so we had tons of time to walk around.... last min. hand letter shopping wakkakaa.... and we spent almost all the yen we have in our pocket.... btw, the food court @ the airport sucks.....

so here we go..... that's the end of the trip... .next stop: hk!

the last struggle

wakkaa, sound so cruel... yes, today is the last full day in jp...... oh i'm so going to miss all the good food and nice clothes :P

finally get to wake up a bit later today...... we didn't go out until 10-ish.... but we were still early for lunch so went to walk around and bought a pair of BOOTS! omg i finally got boots! i'm sooooo happy wakkakakakaa.... cheap too, only 30 bucks... kekeke..... so back to lunch - ueno unagi don! wah soooooo high class sooooo jeng, but super satisified - a dinner size bento box for lunch.. hahaa... then we went to the suit company - ok ga, but a little expensive la, just bought 1 shirt...... then, hand letter shopping - snacks and more boots shopping... oh we found the brown leather converse boots! but no size for someone.... sigh... so disappointing but mo ban fat... sigh.... last but not least - cosmestic shopping - finally got the "sun sin" water yea~! almost missed it ga.... hehee.. and also bought something for mom la..... since we bought too much had to go back to hotel before heading out again....

next stop: daiken-yama! wahhhhhhhh so high class....... its like harajuku but even more high class..... very quiet and peaceful... and also the stores are very stylish..... you know their price range before walking in.. hahaha... our focus was at b@yoshida - omg the bag is soooo pretty!! too bad they don't have the size i want.... i beg and beg the sales to give me the sample one... she just kept saying sorry.. ><~ i got the smaller one instead.... sigh.. ho gor mo.. so many "da meh" this trip.... i guess its cos we're always buying on sale stuff, but not this bag, its not on sale!!!!! still "da meh" me... :( but we got the wallet.. hehehehe..... its really pretty~~~ ah, then visited the addi store but things are so expensive there, the dress i got from outlet - 8xxx, there - 19xxx :P

shibuya! more boots shopping.. sooo many jelly beans hehehehe.... got another pair of heels..... crepes, uniqlo, and the "siu yee" restaurant - yumm! nice recommendation.. hehee... and we didn't have to line up either, which was really good.....

got back to hotel afterwards.... wah so much stuff to pack! i already want to go back to tor, no need to shop anymore in hk... hahaah..... but le, our budget was pretty accurate :) tmr just need to eat lunch and pay for transportation to airport jau all done...... although i'd love to stay here longer - to try more food.. i really have no more $$ to stay.. .hahaha... quoting someone "the gold mine has collapsed" :P

Hakone Day 2

woke up.... or should i say just brush teeth and get changed..... and had our breakfast.. .another nice and yummy breakfast... the server lady was super nice, she remembers c needs fork and she kept trying to talk to us eventhough we don't understand her.... then le, we check out and they waived our hotel fee cos of what happened, duno if we should be happy about it or not la.....

next stop - gora garden - we were going to go there yesterday but didn't have enough time because we needed to rush to the "thief boat" (last boat @ 240)... but its good that we didn't go yesterday... the selling point of this garden was the "lan fa" show... but, they were actually selling the flowers not displaying..... haha.. what a waste, ho choi free entry jek.... :P then we took the long bus to the outlet mall (skipped little prince museum cos we were a bit behind schedule a.... someone la, took us to the wrong bus went the wrong direction... hahaa) the mall was pretty good! 1st had mcdonalds.. wah sooo jeng! the shrimp burger and the salad with sesame dressing.. and also the teriyaki burger.. jeng jeng jeng~ not to mention the corn soup was super good too.. haahaa...... didn't expect mcdonalds to be so good.... :P then we went shopping - beams d stuff ho pretty but still very expensive after discount a..... and then addi was the next biggest stop i think all 4 of us got something there hahaa.... i really like the pink coat/dress i got, such a good deal too! and found the cell phone chains - yea! :D last one is next door, a top from 1xxxx down to 2xxx, really good deal :D

after the mall we were all so tired, took the hwy bus back to shinjuku la..... then we split.... we walked around in shinjuku.. but 0101 was closed today..... and found a 90% boots! but so expensive o, ended up not buying... see see shibuya yau mo la.... saw more jelly beans too but couldn't find the pair we saw in venus fort..... i kinda regret not buying that pair now... aiya!!! went back to ikebukuro for dinner... walked around sunshine city area.... we were going to go to "yat lan" for noodles ga.. but forgot to bring the map.. then went to "mo dik ga" but there was a long line up... ended up at pepper lunch - "sheung gong" beef.... so jeng! hahaha..... maybe better than eating noodles tim... :D

finally back to our hotel... this time we switched room with them gum..... the spacing is not as good but o wells... hmm, just 2 more nights we'll be in hk la..... tmr - unagi don + shibuya!

Hakone Day 1

lots of sitting today :D we ate breakfast as hotel (finally get to try the fan tuen) and then went to take the long train to hakone-yumoto la...... that was like 2 something hours and they were behind schedule too! then had to take the tozan bus to our hotel station because the cable car was down for maintenance... scary windy roads and a huge tall bus.... @@" then le, we got to our hotel reception place la, what i mean by that is, there's a little building for reception outside the bus station, but the hotel is actually inside a valley... we need to take a private cable car just to get down to the hotel..... we only dropped off our luggage yau take more bus to sightseeing la (yes you read it right, today is the only day of sightseeing we have for the whole japan trip :P)

we went to Gora to change cable car to "jo wan san" - on the cable car we see mt. fuji! and also lots of steam coming out from underneath the mountain, those are hot spring water steam le..... got to the top ate a rip off lunch - well it is tourist area.... and couldn't buy black egg cos they sell in chunks of 5 - we couldn't eat that much la, o wells.... then we took another bus to take the "theif boat" to the bottom of the lake.... kinda childish but dol ok ge... hehee.... and then and then..... the DIY music box shop!!! we made one hehehee.... its soooo cute!!! umm afterwards we just took the bus back to our hotel... afterall, we came here for the hot spring ma :D

quickly settlted in jau rush to take a short dip in the spring before dinner at 630...... only about 30mins la..... but but but.... something really really bad happened.... the girls were ok - only 2 of us in the bath and while we were taking our 2nd shower after dipping....... some lady came in asking us if we were ok, had some communication problem but she found a translator for us and confirmed we were ok la..... then, she came back after a few mins saying someone had an accident in the guy side! we both got really worried but turned out it was an old man....... phew~ went back to the room to meet up with the guys..... the news came..... apparently an old man lost conscience in the bath! and the guys were the only there, they found him not responding and called for help....... very scary experience..... we still had dinner anyways.... and the hotel ppl told us that the man had sake before taking the bath.... no wonder le..... and he was sent to the hospital..... we took pics of the dinner, it was good but with what just happened, we couldn't really appreciate the food......

we just tried to sleep early la... and then around 930 the police came to woke us up.... and asked a lot of details about what happened..... he told us the old man passed away before arriving to the hospital... sigh...... it was weird cos the police had to tell the translator and she tells me in mandarin, then i tell s in cantonese what they are asking...... umm.... so hard to fall asleep.... we had the lights on and the tv on gum...... the heat yau ho weird, sometimes really hot sometimes really cold.... then the police came the 2nd time to get contact info... he bought us 2 pops..... he was very nice and he new a bit mandarin too.... he was trying to relax the atmosphere i guess.... :)

so, that was a once in a life time experience, although i'm not 1st person..... it was close enough..... tomorrow we will leave the hotel asap ga la.....

Satou Beef & Ghibli Musuem & Crab Meal

omg the beef is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!! we first had the beef ball as a little snack while waiting for the restaurant to open.... its sooooo good, so juicy with onion in it too..... jeng jeng jeng!!! then we walked around for a bit and c told me about that shisheido "m gun" hahahaa..... back to the beef... its "chung ban" beef omg its expensive but its totally worth it... soooooo jeng!!!! :D the texture and taste is totally different from any steak you've ever had... so hard to describe... just... JENG :D

didn't even walk around the shops there except for loft... bought some gifts for people... then went to ghibli musuem - very pretty o! too bad can't take pictures inside the building..... everything is in my head tho.. :) the little movie is funny hehe and cute...... and bought some souvenirs for people as well la....

last but not least...... Shinjuku - crab meal! wah another jeng meal... wakkakaaka.... super super jeng, with the chinese piano and lion dance performer, definitely worth the $$$$ :D oohoh and we also bought the tix for tomorrow's train... and and.... a purse.... and a sweater... (just can't stop buying hahaa) ... did quite a bit of searching for boots at odakyu but still couldn't find a 100% good one..... sigh, i wana buy boots!!!!!!

finally an early night tonight... have to pack and stuff.... getting ready for tomorrow and the day after... @hakone (will be out of internet until we return to ikebukuro la)

shop till you drop

already not feeling my legs...... today is major shopping day.. wakakkaa we didn't even get to go to the park in harajuku.... just shop shop walk walk walk in the area, there's la foret crazy sale with like 1/2 the japan population packed into 1 building... i didn't even buy much cos its soooo crowded, but what i did buy were really good deal.. :D

had lunch afterwards..... tempura don, not an ordinary tempura don, but special crab leg tempura don.. wakkakakaaa...... so glad we walked into this restaurant for lunch.... :D

then the expensive shopping area... someone's major shopping area... :P very nice and unique shops.... really pretty o!!! almost bought the porter bag....... good that i didn't, i should keep my options open... but still, no boots yet.. ><~ dinner@blowfish restaurant: yumm!!! but smoky place... not that enjoying.......

crazy day today... with a metro pass

1st stop - fish market - we woke up ~5am to get to the fish market and guess what... those 2 famous/popular restaurants already had line ups!!! we ended up in another small one... it was super good... hahaa.... and did a little walking around in the market afterwards, although a bit dirty, the stuff we saw was amazing~ :D

next up - chin cho - the temple + that little street of souvenirs: wasn't that much to see cos we went more for killing time than anything... but the temple was cool and we followed the tradition to pray as well.... before we moved onto the next location we went to a department store to kill time wor... found the chole wallet la! and then le, we lost contact with the other two, wakakaka.... "may i have you attention please, mr. mxxxx lxxx please go to 7th floor customer service.. " :P so funny their english, and the funniest thing is they heard us but didn't bother responding to us! then we gave up and went downstairs then they started making announcement to find us.... aiya!!!!

next - ginza - wah..... ho pretty! they closed the street for shoppers too! things are sooo expensive there... but we bought something @ burberry hehee.... its very pretty... :)

moving on - "toy cheung" - crazy shopping @ venus fort - their so called "climax bargain" hahaa... the place is nice, copy of something casino wor, but it makes u wana fall asleep.... i bought so much there! but couldn't find boots....... and cat couldn't find her jelly beans.......

dinner @ ikebukuro - ramen ---- yummmm~~~!!!! mine wasn't as salty as scottie's.... and the raw garlic bits, soooo jeng, hahahaaa

also went supermarket shopping, that's really fun.. hahaaa.... omg soooo tired, didn't get back to the hotel till like 11.... didn't get to sleep till like 2....... @@"

packing was fun.... wahhahaaa.... 20mins to decide which suit case to use...... 20mins to pack everything... :P had to drive out to markham to bring someone over..... then 10 more mins of last min additional packing i was done.. :D still have time to watch tv and took a power nap before heading to the airport.....

super crazy long line up at custom as expected la..... and the flight from chicago to tokyo the plane ho pretty.. .heheee.... not full at all too, i guess i usually travel during peak season so that's different.... 13 something hours i think i slept about 11hours... lol..... bored die someone... :P i'd rather sleep than eat tho, oh speaking of food, the food at ohare was super expensive la, 1/2 a hotdog = 3.xx! a big mac (definitely much bigger in size) dol cheaper than it...... plane yau green tea, i kept drinking green tea... heheee.....

off the plane jau hai gum pull the suit case everywhere...... soooo tiring... from the skyliner to the train then all the way to the hotel...... ah, someone's luggage case handle was broken during the flight.... sigh, so ma fan airline yau ng liable wor... ng ji dim ho..... the hotel is nice and neat, also tiny as expected heheehe..... after we settled we went out for food a, "chung uk" - beef don - we were gona go eat blow fish ga but cat was too tired she didn't wana go so we just ate something quick la, and then pharmacy to buy shampoo/body wash gor d.... wah so much to see there i already didn't wana leave.... ohoh and found the color wax, hehee i bought one to try.... lets see how it looks tmr.. :)

quick update before trip

wah... soooo busy after the holidays.... i mean work.....
crazy catching up on stuff...... BO training + migration + csc + eagle...... all da way till my last day..... @@"

i got everything done though, heheee fixed the blmberg stuff, BO was good but still confusing, migration has soooo much problems but it went through in the end..... and studying in the dark till 7 at work wasn't that much fun... i passed the csc!!! :D woo hooo!! after the trip i'll start on vol.2... :) eagle ma.... boooooooooooooooooooooring! ho choi yau rim, wakkakakakaa and congrats someone on passing cfa level 1 :D

super long time no see ge novan - still the same old novan.. .hehe, i'm so glad that we met up again, after ermmm.... 5 years? hahaa.... glad to know she's doing fine, and happy that we weren't like quiet and had nothing to say.... final meet up with eva before i go, thanks for the cuttie present, wakaka i love it really! :D

A quick update :)

First of all have to say sorry to those birthday boys and girls near year end…… t, l, w….. I'm so so so sorry I missed your birthdays but I've put them in my calendar ga la, won't happen next year!!!! - promise!

Forgot to mention about my special x'mas dinner.. Hahahaa…. "club sandwich" @ new city… :P thanks for putting up with my weird taste and fulfilled my x'mas wish of eating such a weird dinner… :P

Ah, the bad news about japan, thai, and tw……. Why? Why? Why? Why this time of the year??????? I wana eat watever I want when I'm on a trip!!!!!!

27th-29th @ work… sooooooooooooo super quiet at work, no one is in the mood of doing actual work, hahaha… but it was good because I get to study la! (and write diary - my prev. entry :P)… Some sr. ger gave out godiva chocolate to everyone on the floor!!! So nice of him.. Hehehehee…. And e's present is pretty too, + the chocolate tastes so good, hahaa…. But too bad the cup doesn't fit into the coffee machine so I took it home….. :)

30th went to buy food for 31st party on friday….. And 30th I did some studying too….. Derivatives - options, warrants, forwards, rights, futures….. Ahhhhhhh!!! Hmmm…. Dol dol pee-ed on my shoe!! Gik sei……. I have to hide my shoe from now on… I think she doesn't like me…. Ohoh, sobey's haagen daz ice cream bars on sale but sold out… we got rain check….. So cheap! 2.xx/box!!!

31st - new year's eve!!!!! Afternoon jau do cooking la, I made the chicken wings!! Hahahaa…. And everyone said its good, well I didn't marinate it so.. :P we had way too much food tho… couldn't even finish 1/2 of what we made… but everything was great - I love the potatoe salad + veggie… the pasta was good too but very filling.. And the soup, very nice except a little salty la.. Hahaa…. Then there were desserts too! Fruit tray + ice cream… yumm~~ :) jersey dress code, hehe it was fun, I'll put up a picture later on…. Played killer again but I can never win ge…. Always get voted out on the 2nd last round…… the body-fat/water scale ho dak yi… now everyone knows everyone else's weight… :P

1st - Happy new year!!!!! Finally stayed home today…. Tv tv tv tv like crazy… hahaa….. But its feels good to just hea in the bed for like 5 hours - don’t even need to move…. :P dinner @ auntie man's place…. Yummy food & tiramisu!! :D been eating way too much… time to control myself……
