fei jai + doug are leaving next week la....... sniff sniff no more yui san doug josh get together anymore...... they better be earning big bucks there and fai d get married and have kids... hahaa... lots of mo liu talk @ starbucks...... hmm, should've brought camera to take pictures w/ them on main street la..... forgot jor tim.... oh.... got to see their wasaga pictures from yesterday.... wahhhhh.... they were nose bleeding... hahaha......

missed someone's call 5 times... sorries!! if i picked it up i would've had a chance to get ice cream.. haha o wells..... went to return biannca's thing afterwards and looked at yesterday's pics..... then went home for dinner...

still can't fix mom's ipod.... i've tried restart, restore(doesn't even work), reinstall.... nothing seems to work..... should i call up apple? ding yell at td???

its getting to the age where ppl around u start giving out red bombs........ omg i'm only 18 (24 in reality)!!!! ><~~~ (hehe, thanks cmm for da "happy 18th bday" you're da best, you're da only one who knows my REAL age *muah*~~~!) back to the wedding..... woke up at 8 to get ready... got to the church just before 10.... and helped out a bit on setting up the reception (at the basement).... i don't know anyone there so it felt kinda weird...... and then the families came..... got introduced.... the part-time joke.... and, i was one the receptionists asking guests to sign on the picture and give out the program, the program is pretty nice actually..... :) but i cut my fingers with the glass "cover" for the picture frame.... didn't even know i was bleeding until my hand touched the table and left some color on the table cloth.... haha.... the church ceremony went well.... s cried during her vow... hehee, it was very touching la..... funny how the maid of honour was the witness for signing the paper... not the father.... and le, got sorta tricked lor... keep telling me to go up for picture... but keep saying wait till next round gum... ho choi someone pui-ed me to take the picture with the new couple at the end... hehee..... (taken @ church)

stayed a bit at the reception after la.... ate a sandwich gum... nothing special... then went to their house for a little bit of rest.... then headed out to get hair and makeup done.... hehe, big big thanks to crazy and biannca.... they're both so pro! 4 heads, 3 faces.... we all look very pretty and elegant when we walked out there.. hehee.... got back so "ah yee" could go change, and we cooked noodles.. then i rushed over to the hotel to help setup reception again..... the guy receptionist finally introduced himself (i was with this same guy in the church this morning for reception, we even took a picture!!!)....

people didn't come until close to the dinner time..... oh, btw, the snacks were yummy haha, and the watermelon something blueberry drink was good too!! we were soooo busy, taking gifts, marking guests, finding their names and their table..... ho choi we got another helper or else..... sooooooooo messy...... i didn't need to help put away the gifts since my seat is close to the front.. hahaa.... the dinner was not bad.... food i mean..... the slideshows and music was good, hehee... took lotsa pictures too (them not me).... and the atmosphere was good, except the girl mc jau cha d lac... :P the whole thing lasted till like 1130... i picked up my projector and went home la... soo tired.....

today sooooo hea.... didn't start turning on eclipse and stuff till like 930.. and by 10 we were at tim horton's..... for like an hour... erin was there too so it was alllllllllll good~ hahaha...

added some error checking features then it was lunch..... td food court again... hehe, meeting up w/ henry and hondy.... when james and tiff starts monday.... we should find a time to gather everyone for lunch.. :)

afternoon ma..... after lunch jau did some work ge... haha, found more error checking and asked james what to do.... then... ? talk about japan and thailand and trips...... hahaha.... no one is in the mood of working i guess... and the work progress thingy la.... i made a spreadsheet for it... so, kinda have a 2nd diary to write everyday...... but of course this one i can't slack off on... heheehe.....

dinner @ home with dad.... and 15/16 for da night..... did a draft for 06+6, sent it to yin... waiting for feed back le.... i duno, dun really like it.. but can't think of a good way to do it.... i guess i suck... ^^" oh, and tried signing up for the pcb savings acct thing a.. but it wouldn't let me, i duno why... hmmm....... i don't wana have to go to loblaws to do it le............

yoga

today decide jor to go yoga... so got off work earlier la... didn't expect traffic is THAT much worse with only 1/2 hour difference.... took me 1/2 hour to get home today... !! and rushed to change and rushed out the door to get to yoga.... class was super crowded too.... 4 rows... bik sei.. haha.... but it was good, i needed the exercise/sweat.... ate wayy too much these days... :P

ah, this morning went to get pineapple bun again.. haha.. and cherries in the afternoon.. yumm~~~ and went to the bank to buy usd during lunch..

james' computer got fried.. poor guy had nothing to do the whole day.... even ronan's computer arrived! haha.... me? mo la la, the zip file works... so weird... anyhow, sent to bo la.... and making progress on da jsp... hehe, just dont' wana get it done gum .... brk info is totally done, just need to do the mappings and error checks now.. :)

had a light dinner after yoga.... still mei fix mom's ipod... bt is more important than ipod.. therefore cannot restart computer therefore cannot fix the ipod.. :P

all these instructions for receptionists.... i think i need to print them out tomorrow, at work of course, haha my first use of the phone was for online tel, now my first use of the printer is for the wedding... lol...

work is going well.... hehee.... my bugs are pretty much fixed, only the sql's and error checks left... :D finally!!! hope i can get it done this week....... or early next week.. hehee.... meetings today... bo is still going slowly.... duno when/where they're sending me out le....

finally get to eat my lunch - sat in the fridge for 2 days already la..... and tonight, going to be dai cheung gum's with eva.. hehe, we're going koreantown.... :) thanks for the dinner and the ride... let's go somewhere else next time.. hehe and of course we need to come back to try other restaurants next time too!!! :D

oh and i absolutely love the skirt, thankyou thankyou (all 3 of u.. heheee).... i'll wear it to work tomorrow.. :)

today went to lunch and learn... yfp's speakers series.... thanks d for bringing me there.. hehe a good hour and a half speech + q&a by gluskin (duno if i spelled it right)... he jumps here and there, but other than that.. the ideas and theme was good.. hehee... and there was free food too.. ! which means my lunch leftover from yesterday and the lunch i brought today will be for tomorrow la....

still fixing the stupid layout for bkr info.... grrrrr... jsp soooo fan!!! email chats w/ tif today hahaa... its good to get my mind off jsps once in a while.... :P

happy birthday to me! aiyaaa... getting old la.. haha.... don't want to face the truth... :P

went to work as usual.... emails when i logged on..... group lunch today + jenn's email announcement... she sent that to the whole pb team!!! thanks for everyone's "happy birthdayssssssssss"... hehe and the cards/msn's/sms's, and the lunch (jack astor's... ), and the pretz (glenn... haha), and the cake (choco moose - a bit sweet but still very nice and yummy~)... i had cherries in between the lunch and the cake too.... soooooooooooo full..... basically non-stop eating from 1230 onwards....

got home, of course its the nice dinner prepared by mom.. hehee, shark fins soup, mushroom/ho si/fat choi, veggie, uncle raymond's famous duck, and bday e-noodles.. hehehee yumm yumm~ everything is soooo good i just couldn't eat anymore..... then the cherries - white and red ones, both really sweet o~~~ and then another choco moose cake mom bought from apricot tree.... again very jeng hehee.. less sweet than the one in the afternoon, but still a bit sweet to the chinese ppl's taste.... the sign on it was very pretty.. hehee... thanks thanks.. and thanks auntie bing for da card too... :)

skating + steak

same as last weekend.. hehee... lunch @ new city - corn + fishy rice... ho mei wor.. but the dish is really big, even 2 ppl dol can't finish.... :P skating again... today ho dor little kids a..... they're either the crazy hockey style ones, or the walk 2 steps jau fall style..... quite scary haha.... "elvis" forgot to bring jacket so she was super cold.... we left early....

the original plan was to go to uncle john's house for bbq ge... but due to the weather forecast (6 hrs of thunder storm - which didn't happen)... they cancelled it and we decide to do steak again at home for dinner.... yumm yumm.... this time the steaks are smaller... right size dad said.... and it was really good.... yau d fat beside d meat le, the meat tastes better.. hahaa.....

superman returns / takesushi

got a ride from dad to markham as usual..... lunched with titi wor... we almost went to the same place for shopping afterwards tim.. but we stopped @ fairview..... to get the shirt from h&m..... but then, got home to try it on yau ng hai ho fit..... so decided to go exchange it before dinner.......

meanwhile? superman returns! i thought it would be really really good.. but some places were actually a little boring... and not as much action as i thought it would have tim...... but the good spots were good... hahaaa....

what a suprise tonight, i first thought we were going to katsura.... then he said dt.... so i thought, church st la... but he yau said parking far from eaton so i thought aki da..... ended up it was takesushi... hahaa..... if i knew, i would've brought my camera! the food was sooooo good... omg.... it was one of those chef's special thing, they give u food u eat gor jek.... apetizer 3 little dishes - "shun" + egg + eggplant/pork/raddish.... other than the shun everything was yumm~ then the sashimi - northern seabass (+ginger and green onion, sooooo ching!), "kambachi" (fresh!), someother fish slices mixed with some grass taste like sauce (don't like the grass smell that much), crazy oyster (raw oyster + quail egg + uni - u drink it like a shot.. hahaa).... sooooo good!! then the clam soup, super ching but ng hai no taste, ho dak yi.. heeh i like it way more than miso soup.... and then rice cracker king fish... the feel is so funny, like you're eating foam.. hahaa... and with wong wong taste but its fish..... and then steam egg w/ lobster meat in it.... that was good too but very filling! next comes grill shrimp w/ uni sauce... wahhhhhhhhh jeng jeng, and the sides were yummy too - pumpkin and corn/shrimp thingy.... lastly hai the sushi dish.... king crab (scottie said ng gau fresh wor, but i thought it was really good already), scallop(they used the fire gun to heat up the top layer a bit, nice idea i like it too, but i like it totally raw even more.. wakkaka), japanese trout(ma ma day compared to the others, hahaa rather it be salmon), giant clam(crazy fresh and thick!!!!!!), toro("yup hau jik yung" - undingdable.... :D)... finally jau hai the dessert... ng hai green tea ice cream a.. hahaa... it was a sherbert on top of choco mooose with some berries on top...... soooooooooooooooooooooo good!! hahaa, i duno what other words to use..... the sherbert yau d orange/lemon taste..... very fresh... d fruits mix with the moose ng wui sour..... super satisified after the dinner.. hahaa.... price? ng ho gong la.... more expensive than katsura for sure.... :P special occasion sin ho go la.... next time, next time yat ding yiu bring camera sin dak la~~~!!

wah, went to eat pineapple bun this morning... sooo jeng! the "pineapple" part is soooo crispy, the bun is still warm... jung ji jeng la!

thankyou benson and hondy for helping me out with my stupid coding problem..... i spent a couple hours thinking how to do a save all... but decided to go with the save by row for now..... at least to make some progress..... then will think ha the save all dim suen...... hahaa.....

just when i figured out the sql for the update.... someone cancelled our dinner..... :P mo ban fat la, its not like she purposely did it.. i understand ge.. and we can always meet another time..... but that kinda left me stranded in dt and not able to go home, cos mom drove me to the train station this morning.... so decided to head east..... hahaa, so many ppl line up to buy tix @ union... me almost late for the train.... !!

as planned went to lunch @ marche with the waterloo people today... good to see them, except hondy didn't come..... phone was setup when i returned from lunch.. hehe good good, i get a new phone and a new number..... just need to setup voicemail later then.. :D

around 3 was the fire drill.... took the stairs down 19 floors in my heels!!!! we get water for going downstairs... hahaa.... but hea jor over 1/2 hour just for that.... ohoh, and bought tix to lotr - rfd deal! hahah..... a chinese thing to do.. :P

near end of work we talked about bo and they gave me an overview of how the tables and relationships are... which is what i need to create if we're going bo..... better than coding!! ended up taking the 7 train.... and had a late dinner.....

today is sooooooooo hot!! got to fmp early.. but dad forgot the keys so had to wait for "gor jai".. haha they call alvin gor jai... :P so funny.....

lunch @ new city w/ da couple.... "elvis" yau si yau d childish.... hahaa.... then we went skating after.... it was fun.. and cool... haha temperature wise... :P one was learning how to skate, the other was learning how to do cross-overs.... i think we will go again next week... :D

went back to fmp to meet up with dad so we can go home together.... hence didn't dinner till like 9.... super hungry therefore yau eat jor ho dor... haha then become super full..... i need to control myself sin dak la....

fiona's bday party!

today totally in coma10 days late.. haha she's 10 la.... time flies..... i met her parents before she was born le.......

dinner was great.. tons of food... !! shrimp cracker, chicken wings, ox tongue pasta, ribs, sausages, fish, corn chicken, calbi, sai mai lo sugar water, cake, "bigger than ur head".... soooooooo full afterwards....

she got a crazy watergun from derek... that thing is so heavy even derek has trouble pumping it... and wing could barely carry the tank..... haha but it was fun seeing them play in the backyard and get all soaked....

dad was very happy/talkative.. didn't go home until 12 something...

sooo tired.... too much changing clothes i guess.... ohoh and we bought present for ah mo too.. hehee.... bought my dinner on da way back... spent a couple of hours hea and rest then headed back home to eat huge steaks with dad.. hehe apparently i bought twice as much as he usually buys..... o wells, he didn't tell me! :P but the steaks were really good... :D

yup, thanks eva for driving today..... today is food shoppping, every penny we spent is food related, first its snack @ pmall - ice cream, gai dan jai... etc.... then was snack shopping - snacks for work.... supermarket.... then we went to eat + bought dessert for home..... then t&t - more food.... buns and stuff for my mom..... ohoh we saw the hugest packing of "wong wong" @ t&t, its HUGGGGGGGGE!!!!! then went back to my house to eat the dessert + watch "mei lui" kitchen... i think we tired steph a lot.. hahahaa..... us two are just too used to walking all day long....:P

i.e. happy lur lur day.... count how many bbqs are going on today? hahaa..... eventho it was raining we bbqed @ the garage.... btw, in the afternoon i was actually forced to watch 2 world cup games.... the england one and the brazil one... hahaa everyone is soooo disappointed afterwards...... chicken wings were super crazy salty, shrimps were salty, everything was salty... drank so much coke that i couldn't eat much...... and got sooo thristy afterwards....... !!!

health plans picked! next step is to get my hr pw so i can register for the other benefits as well... sooooooooooooooooo ma fan.. hahahahaa

this morning got forced to buy timbits..... thanks vincent for coming w/ me so i know what to get.. and of course, someone to help me carry the stuff... :P we walked all da way to the scotia one just cos the td timmy's mo chocolate timbits...... its erin's request... hhaa.... and glenn forced me into buying them......

started tackling the code today...... since cvs is working.... james gave me an overview of how the system works... but everytime i ask him if i should do something a certain way.. he's like.. i don't know... u can think about it... grrrrrrr.... o wells, i spent 1/2 da day playing with it... then started copying some pages and renaming them to start modifying... but i ended up screwing up the original pages as well.. so my 2nd half of the day was to fix it..... but failed... i guess its time to del the prj and download from cvs again..... :P

attempted to lunch @ thai express but wayyy too long line up so settled with thai island again.. hahaa... germany won that game too.... with penalites.. ppl were soooooo gun jeung @ da food court.... oh billy was there!

took the 530 train today, earlier than expected heheee..... but ddin't get to go dinner till like 730.... that jap place is soooo booked.... we ended up eating at the hamachi kama place again... hehehee.....
