after v dropped me off at home from airport... i took a quick shower and made the first bus to work! i was earlier than b lor :P can't believe the whole morning we had sloan issues and NO ONE responded!!! sigh........... at least reply and say we're working on it dol ho a...... i bet they didn't even bother to check email...... look so bad on us that tony actually figured out a solution himself.... it was totally our fault!!! super tired that day.... went home on the first train lol...... took a nap before dinner and met up with v, m, and s! first time seeing m la~ nice guy, good pick v! hope you two will do well together la~ :)
Dec 28 - Friday
since someone is still very very sick he didn't come to our shark fins dinner... it was great, and we actually finished all the food even though they counted his share :P oh, spent 3 hours at eatons during lunch to shop with k hahaa, and found my skirt @ br for $80! (i bought it for $30 lol) realized i wouldn't be able to make the weds braces sessions because of baking class (yes, starting on jan 9th!), so had to call up c to reschedule..... still need to figure out how to get to class!!! today is also practically k's last day @ pb...... she'll be here physically still for next week....... i'll miss her!! no more chinese chatting in the pod :(
Dec 29 - Saturday
still in LV time, didn't wake up till 1230 hahahaa, finally did some unpacking and washing clothes, then headed out of course..... and got the ip phone! and my x'mas present hahaa... lame but yet thoughtful, there was a split second i felt touched when i looked at it, thank you :) came back early tho to meet up with v and k @ apricot tree :) they kicked us out after we finished the cake, btw, the cake was good hehee.... so we headed to McD's since v wanted fries - yes, fries after dessert :P good chat, haven't seen k in the longest time!! went home to try out the ip phone - called m first ge, but voice mail, guess she was at church.... then tried the voicemail and it killed the phone! gik sei.. mo dak play... yau mo support to call wor, have to wait till tomorrow.....

a day @ home, more unpacking, met up with c,k,s,&j, too bad s didn't come - didn't realize she moved to vancouver! gotta email her and bug her about it sin dak! thx j for da chocolates :) attempted to find the books that i wana get from walmart but no luck..... dim suen dim suen..... at night ho busy a, busy upload/organize photos, wrap gift for tmr, pack for tmr, update diary, phone chats with c and m to test out the ip phone, blah blah, and still have to sleep before 12 for work tmr! ended up not able to upload the pics and diary is of course not done by the time i went to sleep......

all day BO @ work - well since the market is quiet all the big guys want to see their year end numbers..... @@" suppose to be 1/2 day but ended up not leaving till 4 - dol early jor ga la.... got to markham and started getting ready - hehee my stupid gigi leung look :P i'll post some pics when i get them la.... a good night, good food and we all had fun :) hmmm another year went by already.... and m just reminded me.... 12 more days left....... reality is coming sooner than i thought.....

Dec 22 - Friday
finished some last min. packing, got a ride out to markham.... helped someone packed his stuff.... hea for the rest of the afternoon, then lur drove us to the airport at night :) ended up doing dinner at the airport - pizza pizza hehee.... night time going through customs is GREAT! no line up any where hehee, got to the gate within 1/2 hour! arrived las vegas 11ish their time..... its such a nice view landing at the airport... all the lights, and luxor stands out so much with its beam to the sky! took a taxi and got to our hotel - MGM, when we walked in, there was a FLOOD of chinese people in the hotel lobby! omg what's going on?!?!? turns out it was leehom's concert @ MGM that night, and when we arrived the people were just leaving..... :P our room is SUPER ying... haha, good pick - check out the pics, i LOVE the bathroom design! and and and.... there are FOUR chinese channels on TV, F.O.U.R!!!!! omg we were like hogging the tv the whole night even though we were super tired lol

woke up early to the outlet mall (south of strip).... umm feels like buffalo prime outlet gum hahahaa.... found some good stuff @ converse, the tees and the no shoe lace shoes..... but didn't buy the shoes.... found gloves! but want to shop around before buying..... after that we went up to fashion show mall, wahhhhhh we only went to 3 shops: abercrombie (+Kids), rheuls, apple store - not enough time man, have to come back for sure! we both got a jacket, plus check email heheee..... then rushed to bellagio to meet up with j&m for the famous bellagio buffet - which took 2.5 hours of waiting + $4x/person! wasn't as good as expected.... definitely NOT worth the wait + $$ :P after the dinner was O! by cirque du soleil.... we were all falling asleep by the end of it... cos of the jetlag, and also it wasn't very easy to understand what they were trying to express... yes the performers were amazing with their jumps and moves, especially in and out of the water, but.... i didn't get it lol - dead tired by the end of it... went back to the hotel and fell asleep right after shower
btw, the deuce (the local bus) is very slow because there's traffic 24/7 on the strip (las vegas blvd), and walking is actually faster than bus-ing...

continue to shop shop shop! today is the far far outlet mall... some good stuff there, burberry, ballys, blah blah.... and the best is the jap restaurant hahahaa curry chicken rice + chasiu udon - YUMM!! :D came back and headed up to the other outlet mall (north of strip), this one is for sure not as good - decided to buy my gloves but only white ones left ><~ bought it anyways and it was cheap hahaa, retail $60, outlet $40, sale $20 :D decided to go back to the south outlet mall for exchange if we have time.... done the shopping, time for food - found a small restaurant @ venetian - it was really small, maybe max 20 tables, italian restaurant, it was great, the food was really good and not pricey at all! much better than last night lol dropped by the m&m store on the way back to the hotel - and of course took a lot of pics along the way... today is definitely more relaxing than yesterday :P
Dec 25 - Monday
no malls are open today so.... we decided to sleep in :) met up with someone's primary school friend for lunch, oh before that, we went to line up for 1/2 price tix to see if we can get phantom tix for tomorrow, but we lined up for an hour and then found out they were all sold out... :( anyways, lunch @ paris - some baguette shop, good food but no seats! after that we walked inside Caesars Palace, OMG this place is HUGE!!! we spent like 2+hours walking from the forum shops down (south)....... of course with some shopping done lol (banana republic skirts - $3x only! - found out later that its sold at $80 in toronto!) and had to rush to bellagio for our Michael Mina dinner!! on the night of O! we changed the dinner time (we booked 9:30pm online, changed it to 6pm) every single dish was amazing :D we had soup on the house, tuna tatar (they mix it in front of you), lobster potpie (a whole lobster tail inside!), black cod (super smooth and not oily), kobe beef + fois gois (wasn't real kobe but good enough, a whole piece of fois gois not just a paste), desert sampler (a cup of something that tastes like toothpaste lol, warm chocolate cake, coconut pana cotta) - super satisfied! during 1 course the waiter gave us dirty forks by mistake so we asked for clean ones, in the end they offered wine on the house but since we don't really drink, we just got a coke :) after dinner we watched the volcano show @ the mirage - very ging!! we got a good spot too hahahaha forgot to mention there were a lot of very pretty x'mas decorations @ bellagio lobby - of course we took a bunch of pics there too!

back to shopping wakakkaaka...... first thing first - checked out, stored luggages, and went back to the south outlet mall to exchange my gloves - last pair of brown!! then back @ fashion show mall, this time really walking through the shops + did online checkin for flight the night hahahaha ended up buying more hhee, and the paul frank store is really cool! except we didn't get enough time to shop there.... ohoh and had the baileys' milkshake after lunch - wah super rich but super jeng!!!! after that walked over to miracle mile shops - this mall sucks! todai smells really nice when we walked by so we decided we'll try this one..... but when we went tothe sucky h&m there i found glasses!!! gum had to rush back to fashion show mall to refund them..... got stuck @ treasure island while walking to the bus because they were doing a show - it wasn't that good + ppl were jammed @ the walkway literally no one could get through, we (+ a lot of other people) were forced to watch the whole show..... then someone started not feeling well...... but we had todai anyways so i ate a lot but still for the $60 we probably ate $20 :P back to MGM and got our luggages, then taxi to the airport....... when we were approaching the checkin counter the staff was already calling out our names.... it was 1 hr before the flight and we were the last ones to check in!! duno what the other ppl are doing, there's nothing to do at the airport ga ma! anyways.. tried to sleep on the flight back + the 3rd seat beside us was empty to i lay down heheheee..... thx v for coming to pick us up and driving me home even though it was out of the way :)
that concludes my vegas trip~ :)

a note before vegas....
umm mo mud vacation feel, sometimes i don't even remember that i'm going to vegas..... maybe cos i wasn't invovled in the planning at all..... :P but none the less, i'm going and i'm going in less than 10hrs!!!
td's x'mas party on thurs (13th) - spent the whole morning figuring out an excuse not to go to the sungard one... heheee, and it worked! w/o lur killing any of our jobs - because of the sample portfolio risk rpts :P good that i didn't go i heard there weren't many ppl and it was boring.... the td party venue was nice, muzik @ exhibition.... food wasn't as good as last year's, and j came! had a couple drinks too, thanks b for introducing vodka7 :) but its not good to stay close to him when he drinks, cos he "bok mong" all the time!!! arms on your shoulder, on your waist.... aiya!!! behave yourself!!! and then ding dong keeps spitting when he talks... omg..... @@"
the secret santa - belly dance dinner on friday (14th), thanks h for organziing and giving us a ride, the dinner was good, my secret santa revealed herself and said she couldn't come... enjoy ur "meet the parents" trip la! :D
dinner with n was cancelled cos she was sick..... but managed to ans her cruise questions via msn la.... decided to get v's battery @ vegas instead cos of the price difference, the same thing from sony store CA is 30 bucks more than sony store US!!!!! what a rip off!
oh i picked my gift, picked the ipod shuffle becuase it has the highest resell value lol..... i have too many ipods at home eventho i lost one la...... hope no one will find out la hahhaa
coop farewell lunch was at chili chicken place (yuet dung) - wa..... nasty chinese "plate head rice", chinese food court taste better than that la..... but the good thing was, ger paid and we detoured to eatons for a walk before heading back to the office :P k's last day is very close - 28th.... just 2 more days with her and she'll be officially lur's.... be his slave hahaha..... wish her well in the new team, i know i'll still see them ge~

Went breakfast in my smelly (pho) clothes then went to sauga.... Someone finally becomes carless! And within 1hr of passing over the car, the airbag light went on again lol - 'no luck walk'! Decided no umbra today so went home and watch movie - kung fu mo dik - mo liu sin arm! Dinner was on lur hehhe, was gona go to keg mansion but 3hr wait! So ended up at fune - still good :) thanks for the treat! Super traffic jam coming back cos of a game at rogers center....

Sleeping in feels soooooo good :D got to dt around 330, met up with someone and walked up to eatons, so crowded and no shopping mood.. Ended up at tim's with hot chocolate... Found out the tim card has only 2 bucks lol! Then walked over to 4 seasons to meet up with the nutcracker crew - thx t for organizing, the show was really good :) and then the nice dinner place d brought us to.. The orange duck was really good!! Didn't get home till almost 12.... Work tmr :(

Demo day
Got to work, fix the bo query (yes thought of a solution last night during shower), prep for demo, demo, run to x'mas lunch (thx k for saving me a seat!), back to pod + get water, another demo in a super warm and small room with 6 ppl + 2 laptops + 1 projector, ran over to traders to support blmbrg during the dma demo, then our turn (omg I was soooo falling asleep especially since the room was super warm).... Another OT demo, ran back upstairs to pack up, run to union for the train....
What a day..... paradise, pho dinner, read, diary, sleep
I am VERY tired......
P.S. Gave cousin the stuff for dad, hope he'll appreciate my x'mas gift to him la :)

A quiet day
Work was quiet and I purposely avoided going to the trade floor knowing a got yelled at by big l cos of the bo report :p spent most of the day optimizing it and p's never ending new cols to 1 rprt... Our ba meeting was very informal and g + j joined in the end to chat :) the only thing was got asked specifically to go to the sungard party - was planning on quietly avoiding it ga ma...... Speaking of parties, thanks h for offering to drive me home after the belly dance dinner, let's compromise and just drop me off at union la :)
Dinner with da bday girl at milestone, the meal was good at least the bday girl liked it :) sorry I hope it wasn't the dinner that made u feel sick during the walk... Hope you feel better!!!!

weekend recap
FRIDAY..... in general it was a good day... except near the end of the day j came around and .....
j (to ME): "wana go for a trip?"
me: "sure... where?"
j: "vancouver... tues-weds... blah blah"
b (cutting off j): "OHHHHHHH i WANA GO!!!!!!"
j (to ME): "well you have seniority you get to choose first... blah blah"
b (cutting off j AGAIn): "I'D GO!!!!"
me: "ermmm... fine...... you can go.... ?"
b: "j, who's goin? who's goin?"
j: "xxx, xxx, and xxx, or xxx.... "
b: "oh yea ok, xxx is going, yea i'll go, at least i have him to talk to... blah blah"
not that i really wana go or else i wouldn't have let him go, its the attitude! how UNPROFESSIONAL is that?! first of all sound like a kid cutting off people just to say he wants to go, then treats a BUSINESS DEMO TRIP like a long weekend trip with friends gum asking who's going..... i honestly don't know how j stands him.... sigh
dinner was hotpot @ vc, with only 4 ppl :P but it was good.... :)
then - got back to go train station to pick up my car..... it wouldn't start up! ><~ AND the key fell in between the seats on the way home to find "electric cables".... how "black" can you get... sigh..... thank GOD v was home and she has one at home, so went to pick it up... then back to the station in the freezing cold.... trying to start up the stupid car...... still no luck..... 2 hours of back and forth - finally gave up and go home.... deal with it tomorrow (left the car at the parking lot)
SATURDAY woke up early to call uncle r for help..... they couldn't come till 2pm, so someone came in to have another try with a different car + cable... and it finally works!!! BUT........ it can't start on its own... everytime i turn off the car, i'd need another car to help jump start it...... grrrr..... the line up at canadian tires was horrible!! so ended up driving out to markham to fix.... there goes 1xx bucks after many hours of attempting to fix jump start the car in the freezing cold... ><~ what a day.... after that was visiting used-cars places for some price researches..... then some groceries shopping + simple dinner..... yes i need rest.....
SUNDAY crazy snow and ice over night, i went home after brunch..... very very very tempted to call in sick tmr
MONDAY alarm clock went off... without even looking outside i typed the email... "hi j, i'm not feeling very well today, do you mind if i work from home?" and without waiting for his reply, i went back to sleep... :D a day of music/tv + work... it felt really good hahaha, its actually my very first time taking a day off without having a real reason lol but my left ear hurts.... i'll wait till tmr to go to the walk in clinic - much closer and another excuse to be away from the office!
TUESDAY got to work, went line up for walk in clinic, rushed back to the office for support and rush out again to the clinic - it was 1hr+ wait!! but finally got to see a doc, the same doc from last time, whom i can't hear what he's saying cos he mumbles.... all i got was ".... viruses..... swollen.. ok?... salt water.... ok?.... prescription... ok? byebye... " so i went and dropped off my prescription (another $50 ><~!, and the spray feels funny) and went back to the office...... phone rang from e? no it was from j.... bonus time! omg the number is far beyond my expectation!!! of course the good way...... hahaa..... spent like the whole morning (the rest of it at least) punching in numbers in the calculator..... calc calc calc... talk talk talk... wkakakakakaa..... and b leaving in the afternoon (for van) - what a nice day for me (no constant swearing from my left ear all day long).... :D missed lunch cos of a "already rescheduled but didn't get notified" meeting (seriously, no respect man, i know you're a big guy and i'm small potato, but still, NO RESPECT!!!!!) but the bonus covers this little frustration lol k's been complaining about them scraping her work on the new website, me and l keep trying to comfort her the whole day... hahaa, suen ba la..........

THE WORLD HAS COLLASPED! call from j @ 640AM "smartloan is down, i think the avail file didn't get sent to them...", me (yawning): "ok i'll take a look!"..... logged onto citrix, OMG OMG OMG, the sec master files are NOT THERE!!! usually what happens is they're late, and by the time i wake up (6-ish) they'll be there.. but they are NOT, NOT THERE, CANNOT BE FOUND!!!! after paging EOP found the email from WH (sent at 4AM) about it.... so they know, they are reprocessing everything... sigh...... j went panicking keeps asking for ETA.... and by noon we were still loading algo :P what a morning....... (i still have to add it to support tracker)...... afternoon then was all BO - still can't figure out how to do the last br/ln rate........ oh and a little creative art work session with l on the jay cowboy calendar lol..... can't wait to see b's reaction tmr! dentist appointment tonight and dr. c said maybe i can get the metals in my teeth out 6 months earlier than planned!!!! :D but still have to keep elastics on for the coming month.........

not that i really wana go or else i wouldn't have let him go, its the attitude! how UNPROFESSIONAL is that?! first of all sound like a kid cutting off people just to say he wants to go, then treats a BUSINESS DEMO TRIP like a long weekend trip with friends gum asking who's going..... i honestly don't know how j stands him.... sigh
dinner was hotpot @ vc, with only 4 ppl :P but it was good.... :)
then - got back to go train station to pick up my car..... it wouldn't start up! ><~ AND the key fell in between the seats on the way home to find "electric cables".... how "black" can you get... sigh..... thank GOD v was home and she has one at home, so went to pick it up... then back to the station in the freezing cold.... trying to start up the stupid car...... still no luck..... 2 hours of back and forth - finally gave up and go home.... deal with it tomorrow (left the car at the parking lot)
SATURDAY woke up early to call uncle r for help..... they couldn't come till 2pm, so someone came in to have another try with a different car + cable... and it finally works!!! BUT........ it can't start on its own... everytime i turn off the car, i'd need another car to help jump start it...... grrrr..... the line up at canadian tires was horrible!! so ended up driving out to markham to fix.... there goes 1xx bucks after many hours of attempting to fix jump start the car in the freezing cold... ><~ what a day.... after that was visiting used-cars places for some price researches..... then some groceries shopping + simple dinner..... yes i need rest.....
SUNDAY crazy snow and ice over night, i went home after brunch..... very very very tempted to call in sick tmr
MONDAY alarm clock went off... without even looking outside i typed the email... "hi j, i'm not feeling very well today, do you mind if i work from home?" and without waiting for his reply, i went back to sleep... :D a day of music/tv + work... it felt really good hahaha, its actually my very first time taking a day off without having a real reason lol but my left ear hurts.... i'll wait till tmr to go to the walk in clinic - much closer and another excuse to be away from the office!
TUESDAY got to work, went line up for walk in clinic, rushed back to the office for support and rush out again to the clinic - it was 1hr+ wait!! but finally got to see a doc, the same doc from last time, whom i can't hear what he's saying cos he mumbles.... all i got was ".... viruses..... swollen.. ok?... salt water.... ok?.... prescription... ok? byebye... Mo si mong
After becoming a BA jau always hai gum..... Everyday dol ho mong but when I try to recap what I did, yau nothing significant wor..... At least before as a developer I can say I solved this issue or finished this page - something measurable, something you can show people visually... But now, haha, ermmm.... Just a bit of everything everyday.... Mo big progress I guess :P
O yea finally met the e replacement, a good news came out of that meeting - will get a free lunch hahaha... And then end of day yau another news... Part of gbs people are moving to yorkmills, if we get tagged I'm so finding another job... No way I'm travelling there everyday!
Spent a morning calculating my bonus lol well more like someone did all the calcs and tell me what I should expect, let's not be to optimisitc so I won't get any disappointment next week hehe

Let's see how long I can keep this going
Yesterday ma... I slept in hahaha so I wet and email k in case people ask, and her reply was 'slacker' lol, after I into the office we got j's email saying he's late... Then k said oh I can use the same reply to him!!!! - note that j is our ger... :P
Ah, did I mention m got a temp job this week? After nearly 20years of FT housewife!!! No suprise she said it was sun fu eventhough it was only data entry.... Let's see if she adjust or just quit hahaha

The past month and a half
Super long time no write :P lots had happened.....
My tan faded so quickly I can't believe it!!! Next time yiu tan more sin dak la!!! We found the alcohol choco at shoppers downstairs the other day, same packing as the one I bought in mexico! Feel so stupid hahahaha, btw, finally got more pics from other cameras - my plan is to update the blog + fb asap....
Speaking of chocolate - another guy left pb..... 'Demetres' - that's what I call him, he was a funny guy, always keep me talking while waiting for the traders... He wished me happy birthday saying he doesn't know who I am hahha... Anyhow, best of all at your new company!
The ghs primary girls are planning a reunion in hk.. I'd love to be able to join them.. Its been a god 10+ years.....well at least found them on fb :)
Congrats to my best roommate - on finding her 1st love :) so happy for you!!! Like ur sis said, big girl la, be good to him and yourself lol I'm stilling waiting for a chance to meet this guy in person!!! on the flip side, the k and w issue didn't end after cruise, some complications came up but they are now finally over... I care about them both but I think this is the best ending too.....
Auntie's 'yau ging mo him' - what a relief it is not a treat anymore..... Duno what will happen. If it weren't stage one.....
E on the eval - e is not a bad grade like in school, in fact, e is the highest one can get in our scale :) one more week I'll find out how much 'real' prize I'll get! I guess they are scared of big L yelling about people leaving lol
been communicating with dad thru email.... everytime i read his emails i feel happy and painful at the same time... of course very glad to hear from him, but knowing how he's doing is like a stab in my heart.... i only wish i could make more money so that he can stop working, it just hurts to see him working in such tough environment... maybe he doesn't think this way but i honestly think its unfair to him.... i mean, he was the one who made all these money and supported the whole family with high living standards all these years... and he doesn't get to use much of what he earned how that he's not making as much anymore? there isn't much i can change about this fact, only way to help is to earn enough to support him as well as myself.... i guess this is a question everyone has - how to make more money??????? (another evident on it sucks to grow up!!!!!!!)
Someone finally decided to leave.... Of course I support his decision, it is definitely better for him on the other side of the world.... But of course I have my struggle... And it didn't hit me until last night, until he booked and paid for his flight... I talked to a few people... Everyone is scaring me about ld, asking me what I will do... I dun even know what I want so stop asking - he is the one leaving ask him questions!!! I had my own plan, I duno how long I can stretch this.... But I guess fate will decide for me...
finally started investing... its confusing and overwhelming - especially its ur own money that you're playing with..... let's hope i'll do alright (as in not lose everything lol)
I guess with this I'll start writing here regularly again, and have to take some courses to fill my time next year.....

Oyster Trip - Day 3 - Day @ Sea
@Deck - first things first - TAN TAN TAN~~~~!!!! It was a relaxing day at sea - slept in, tan, and I think we went to the amazing steam room afterwards, shower then dinner
It was a formal dress code dinner - so we all did, and all ready for the yummy food!

Oyster Trip - Day 2 - Liberty Of The Seas On Board!
@Miami South Beach - our hotel is on the beach front, so we just took a walk there while waiting for k and w to arrive..... very pretty beach - except it was very windy that day.... we saw a topless woman there too :P
@Miami South Beach - da shadows
@Lincoln Road - there's an arts store there.... there are created by some famous designer, everything there costs $5 digits!!!
@Lincoln Road - the arts store again - the fish is sooo cute!it was during the walk to the beach walk that i realized my feet were bleeding - both of them! apparently my flip flops were scratching the skin as i walk, so...... :( ho choi k had bandages!
@Sea Port - our ship!!!!!!!
@Liberty of the Seas - our rooms, the deck, activities (the ship is soooo huge it was very tiring to walk around and explore every place in the ship) - there's flowrider (surfing), rock climbing, basket ball court spa & gym, running track, water playground, casino, skating ring, bars/pubs, shopping street (with Ben & Jerry!), arcade, game room, theatre, 3 floors dinning room, buffet area, blah, blah blah.....

Oyster Trip - Day 1 - Shopping@Miami
@YYZ - waiting for flight to MIAFlight was good, no delay, one of the flight attendant was s's health nurse at work! good that we bought the food coupon too.. enjoyed a nice sandwich on the plane, and also chips too :)
@ Flight - beautiful landscape (MIA ppl are RICH!)
@ South Beach Marriott - got our room, dropped off the luggages, and headed out to the mall!
@ Bus Station - suddenly started to rain heavily as we left the hotel, but we were determined "M-U-S-T-G-E-T-T-O-M-A-L-L"! on the way there we saw tons of constructions on the shoreside - W hotel, Trump buildings, etc...
@ Aventura Mall - major shopping (for me) @ miss 60 lol....
@ Aventura Mall - dinner @ cheesecake factory (Yumm!!)
@ Lincoln Road - on our way back from the mall, we stopped at Lincoln Road for a walk, a very pretty area - shopping/dinning/clubbing... very crowded too! we'll be here again tomorrow with k and w :)

Dinner @ kumai sushi was great - their omakasen is worth the money, not expensive but good quality heheeh…
The sandwich place @ etobicoke is good - good recommendation v! - so great to see s again, and finally get to meet her guy, hehee he's definitely a keeper, be good s and treat him well :D
Endless after-hour vendor demos = too much pizza + pop…… gm was bad while a was ok, but either one means we have TONS of backend work to do…. @@"
Braces trouble - c didn't put down I want clear braces and I couldn't see what dr. c was putting on me.. So he had to take them out and put on the clear ones again, not only extra time and extra money, also extra pain….. !!!!!
Ah, finally applied for web broker - but still waiting for the docs (its been almost 3 weeks) and the U.S. dollar visa - unfortuanately applied too late, won't come in time for the cruise trip……
demo@london! It was fun……. But feet hurt afterwards hahaha… and learnt more about what to do at client offices :D
Finally get to meet up with c - still the same old c, we'll meet up again when m is back too (miss her so much!) - and she's made a decision on dinner place tonight, i'm very proud of her :)

omg another trip....
i foresee..... a very BROKE future!
this week at work has been quite busy, simply because j is back..... good that is not support busy but actually work work busy.... :) the little drama stirred up by k has started, some interesting dialogs between the
big guys..... honestly i wouldn't dare to do such a thing, have to say k is very brave! oh yea and the coop left and the new guy came as well..... we'll soon see if i picked a good guy or not...
so, why am i having a very broke future? yea well...... going to vegas his x'mas...... there's jay chou on 26th!!! not that i'm a super fan of him, but i'd rather watch him than jackie cheung :P so the story was..... someone had been talking about vegas for the past week or so...... forcing me to yet again ask for more day off that i'm not entitled to...... fine got approved then during his daily checkup on the package prices on friday.... it changed!!! +$~160!!! i almost backed out cos its now not that worth it to go..... then then then.... just as we were about to click submit and pay the extra $$..... error!!! ok fine we will do it again.. and and and... search results return the original price! so then we thought we shouldn't wait anymore in case they really jack up the price soon........ ta-da~! i'll be spending x'mas @ vegas..... :) so yea, i'll pretty much be saving nothing from now till year end..... decided to give up the pair of rb i saw on bloor last week too... have to save up for these tripssssss la.....
spent the whole sat doing family work.... on the phone with rogers (now dad joined mom to REMIND me DAY AND NIGHT - actually each time when each of them see me - about it, how many times do i have to tell you its not me not following up, its the sales who didn't reply my email!!!!, so fine i had to call rogers and get another sales rep to do it) - but their system was down so couldn't do anything anyways.. now i have to report every single action i take to the boss so they will stop REMIDNING me about it multiimes daily..... while i was on da phone i was also on a chat with bell to change the billing address - totally ng understand thru chat jau can change withou dad's consent, but logged in on the bell account to change jau ng dak? watever, done and over with.... still couldn't resolve the promotion problem, really don't have couple hours in the office to service bell....... and then changing the light switches.. the STUPIDEST thing EVER, why? what's wrong with those nice made in canada switches provided by the builder? had to change them all to those sucky made in china ones, jung yiu 1hour+ of work AND $$........ you can tell how willing i was about helping out...... only did it cos i feel sorry for dad! jung yau more mo liu requests ga.... have to deal with it tmr and next week a... i swear after dad leaves i'm not doing anything for mom anymore.... no way, she wants it she can do it herself.... things don't get done magically be real la..... u don't just say you want something and go out to play all day AND night then those things will get done ga....
cruise stuff are almost all finalized - yup, had another cruise meeting friday night (after the vegas booking).... now have to look up vegas stuff la..... later yau yiu look up europe stuff la.... jung yiu look up classes la.....
been having a little primary school reunion on facebook, found so many people back and actually talked to them... everyone's changed so much but still when looking at the faces all the chinese names popped up in my brain... oh i miss the old times :)

spent the whole sat doing family work.... on the phone with rogers (now dad joined mom to REMIND me DAY AND NIGHT - actually each time when each of them see me - about it, how many times do i have to tell you its not me not following up, its the sales who didn't reply my email!!!!, so fine i had to call rogers and get another sales rep to do it) - but their system was down so couldn't do anything anyways.. now i have to report every single action i take to the boss so they will stop REMIDNING me about it multiimes daily..... while i was on da phone i was also on a chat with bell to change the billing address - totally ng understand thru chat jau can change withou dad's consent, but logged in on the bell account to change jau ng dak? watever, done and over with.... still couldn't resolve the promotion problem, really don't have couple hours in the office to service bell....... and then changing the light switches.. the STUPIDEST thing EVER, why? what's wrong with those nice made in canada switches provided by the builder? had to change them all to those sucky made in china ones, jung yiu 1hour+ of work AND $$........ you can tell how willing i was about helping out...... only did it cos i feel sorry for dad! jung yau more mo liu requests ga.... have to deal with it tmr and next week a... i swear after dad leaves i'm not doing anything for mom anymore.... no way, she wants it she can do it herself.... things don't get done magically be real la..... u don't just say you want something and go out to play all day AND night then those things will get done ga....
cruise stuff are almost all finalized - yup, had another cruise meeting friday night (after the vegas booking).... now have to look up vegas stuff la..... later yau yiu look up europe stuff la.... jung yiu look up classes la.....
been having a little primary school reunion on facebook, found so many people back and actually talked to them... everyone's changed so much but still when looking at the faces all the chinese names popped up in my brain... oh i miss the old times :)
s is back!!!! we're meeting up tmr and next week... can't wait to see her again :) next week ho busy, yau yiu meet up yau yiu after hour demo yau yiu fix teeth - yes, i'm turning into a full monster next week (braces on the upper jaw) - bye bye chewy food and bones...........

the last long weekend!!!
friday - farewell dinner for v @ munz kitchen... too bad "jek" didn't show up, can't see her reaction @ the bling bling.... hahahaa.... but it was good dinner, had fun trying out the ray ban from m :P went to v's house afterwards but he spilled hi stinky garbage - omg IT STINKS!!!!!!!!! so we left shortly after hahahhah.....
saturday - bloor st shopping, suprised so many swimwear shops/botiques in the small streets! but didn't buy any cos either too expensive or not fit my style..... the most crowded shop on the street was t&co, omg it was crazy... felt like being in HK tst d expensive shops - filled with "freedom walk" gum ge feel....... @@" ah, found a pretty dress @ h&m heheee.... good price too.... :) visited dt t&t afterwards, lobster dinner - d lobster @ dt cheap $2/lbs a..... good dinner it was, d fun si super jeng with the lobster "go" kekekeee...... and also buy jor dragon eye + watermelon, d dragon eye ho sweet!!! ohoh, and buy jor ice cream..... finally :D
sunday - more shopping kakakaa.... this time is vaughn mills - really shopping la... bought another bikini from addi, super cheap and quite pretty too :) and then another top - wah, yau d sexy ga kakakaa but i like it! and then lastly jau hai what i was looking for - vest.... yuen boon hai h&m find a good one ga, but out of stock...... found another one at limite - not as good le.... o wells..... hot pot dinner - small world! can't believe v knows j kakakaa, in a weird way too hahhahahaa.... just too funny, and found out a nickname of w..... omg i must must must tell ppl @ work..... lol
monday - finally a day to hea @ home, suppose to yoga but really didn't feel like moving in the morning - i really gotta push myself next week, i'm gaining too much weight!!!!! hmmmmm.. yau dor yat gor trip...... duno happy ding ng happy..... counting this one jau 4 trips this year la, jung yiu use up more than my alloted vacation days, i'm not saying i don't enjoy going on trips but... too much ho chi not right gum lor........ me gum say someone yau ng happy.... sigh... u have the $$ and vacation i don't...... u just don't understand... ng think about how i feel.... i have to strech every single limit i have to adjust to your wants and desires - gum me le? sigh....... no comment....
tuesday - back to work - j is back to work too = more random ad hoc works = can't do my own work....... good to be busy again ge..... and also met up with t/h/k for coffee :) ho dor stuff to plan a.................. ohoh! guess who i met today??? first of all, t!!! @ the lobby - but she was in a rush so didn't even get her contact jau split jor... have to wait for the next time we run into each other sin dak la......... next le, hai s a!! she's sitting beside me now hahaha... can't believe it..... last time was 1b @ mac king la! she wasn't around much today though, will find another time to chat with her :)

When's the last time I update blog during work? Not that I don't have anything to do, just don't want to work….lol been catching up on ga sai tong as well, heheheeeeee…. I really enjoy the days when j is off :D
Tuesday: long demo, my first one without j beside me - glad not much tech questions :) more bloomberg poking around, and the boring never-ending lnet mapping doc - thanks k and b for helping out!! Been following up with mom's cell phone request as well, the hardware upgrade is not bad wor….. Just need her to pick what she wants I guess…..
Wednesday: another long demo, almost fell asleep cos it was webex hahaa, and can't hear what the french guy was saying on the phone…… glad I'm not the one presenting hahaaa…. Senses cake! So expensive but really good - would've been better if they were refrigerated I guess lol…. Spoon & fork was good too except I was really full (too much snacks in the afternoon) so couldn't eat much at dinner….. Thx v for da treat! Sorry couldn't fix the computer le, but at least know what the problem is = can research, and also, thanks for the magazines :D will keep me away from hp for a while hahaha
And I finally mailed out everything I owe cmm :P hope she'll like them la!

updates!
Thursday: lnet meeting - what?! You giving me work to do???? Yo we pay you you should be doing work for us!! Grrrrrr…… yes, I've been emailing d&m more than anyone these days….. Endless lnet problems - stock split, backend files, invoices, etc…… I sleep dreaming about lnet…… @@" already in a bad mood - decided to get myself into a worse mood by calling bell, trying to figure out the bills, right, apparently the customer representatives can offer watever they want when you sign up for the service, and then also charge you watever they want when they bill you, isn't that nice? So the story was, I was told I'll get 3 months free internet, 24-month contract, no LD deactivation charge (when cancel w/i 30days)….. But all that become non-existing when I call - "I'm sorry I don't see it showing on your records" - how da heck am I suppose to ensure the customer representative have entered what he told me on the phone? I don't see your stupid computer screen I don't see your system, if you tell me what I'm getting that's what I'm expecting! Sooo pissed off and they held me on the phone for 2 hours - no conclusion…. I hung up when va came to pick me up… sorry va you have to listen to my complaints yet again……. After the complaint tho the dinner was good - we both ate a lot more than expected hahaa.. Just keep talking and eating - good to have a nice walk at no frills aftewards… :D and thankyou thankyou for buying all those stuff for me in hk~~ heheheeee
Friday: busy busy…… rushed off work for paradise, then hot pot @ vincents, omg m&l got engaged!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!! The whole night we spent questioning the two about how it happened hahahaha…… really happy for them though, first couple in the group!! Very pretty ring indeed :)
Saturday: rain rain rain = bbq cancelled….. Almost late for danger this morning, and then went out for the plan b - bowling… turns out a lot of ppl flew airplane, jo ji I join them la hahahaa….. O wells, stayed for a bit and then went off to yorkdale to walk around - with m&l :) didn't buy anything but was checking out prices wakakkakakaakak get ready for miami :P dinner @ new city - black pepper ox tongue spaghetti - very traditional, very yummy heheheheheee, watched the miriam movie (mui dong bin wan si) - ok wor……. Not bad, maybe cos I like miriam la heheheheee
Sunday: skipped yoga agin… man, I really need to push myself to yoga on sundays!! Went to home depot to buy the wood stuff for the garage shelf - the board was too big we had to leave the backdoor open the whole way back home - beep beep beep all da way……. Only took us a couple hours to get it done, but missing some screws to tie it tight to the wall….. And killed a lot of flies hahahahaa…… rested while watching potege (moon toll) - yau d nasty…… that girl looks like "jing ji" gum…… not very pleasant……. Hehe, catching up on movies~
Monday: back to work, but didn't do much work kekekekeke….. The whole morning was gapgapgap + shopping for cmm's present - all done now (btw, us company sucks - what's with all these not accept credit card of non-US address?!?)! Only the jp gift left heheee that's been >1/2 year already :P and then little bit of lnet and salesforce stuff….. SOMEONE GET TO GO TO CONFERENCE IN PALMS BEACH!!!!!! Can you tell I'm very jealous???????? The person with vacation days he can't finish, gets another 4 days @ palms beach all paid for!!!!!!!!! Within a month after the cruise!!!!!!!!! Sigh…. Life is unfair………… wah, no rim tonight (outlook upgrade) - hope hope pray no problems tmr morning or we'll be SO DEAD! ohoh, gan said mt. tremblant in oct? sounds like a good idea eventho i'll be having way too many trips this year hahaa, watever its gan! i'll go :D can't wait till she comes back!!!!!!

admin day
morning was still work, busy work too... by the afternoon i was not in the mood of doing more work - comparing to everyone else's status on the status meeting, i've done more than enough!! spent the afternoon making decision on etrade or webbroker - finally have my answer and started filling out the form..... then a self-resolved production issue - no m, we are here and the problem is on the client not us!!
after dinner was 2 hours of analyzing phone bills and insurance forms...... finally got everything straighten out - i think... just need to mail in the forms and call to yell at bell tomorrow - oh it's going to be super time consuming i can predict! and then, always forgot about the rbc password reset...... and mom's stupid cell phone that she's been calling me everyday about - its annoying to the point that i just don't want to do it for her, want to just hang up on her everytime she calls now....
still got more $$ issues to figure out..... sigh, hate being an adult! ><~
on a happier note, got a lot of things done today~ plus got a almost free fruit salad from marche :) and shampoo/conditioner on sale.... looking forward to the end of the week!!!

its been busy
haha, hp kept me busy on go trains therefore no time for blog :P and then ipod video, but hp is taking priority :D
hmm, let's see what i did 3 weeks ago....
work ma, continue the margin problem but in the end it went away on its own.... j said "if you can get lnet to admit they made a change in the background, i'll buy you coffee" (the you was me.... ) hahaaa, i should've said i'll do it if i get a raise for it lol.... new margin software specs/sample, wh files auto delivery - didn't even bother finding a developer to do it, much faster to do it myself.... entertaining d on salesforce - once again business brains can't work with technology.... played with the bloomberg machine (finally a simple and fun task).... and of course endless support work
the market was up and down past couple weeks - seen the other side of big l..... while trying to help him with a quick report on bo for intra-day margin calls... saw him banging his hand on he desk and swearing... i really didn't wana be there but had no choice as he requested me to stay...... but glad that my report helped... eventho now it doesn't really work, i really duno why.. have to spend some time to look into it sin dak..... + the abc report - couldn't get away with doing summary tables..... mo ban fat..... bo sucks!!!
j started his 2 week vacation this week, and b is totally useless on support.... doesn't wake up to catch the problems and claims the sod/eod page takes too long so he's not going to rerun the jobs, then gets to the office and say what do i do where do i go.... use your brain before you ask man! got fed up i rather do them myself.... ended up spending my whole morning doing work b should be doing...... i need to fix him up eventually or else i'll explode one day.....
outside of work le, the cruise "tea meeting" dinner.... helping dad out with house stuff, lantern festival, va's return - thanks for da moomin candy, i absolutely LOVE da box!!!!, d's bday (+l's ice cream treat), trip planning - thx s and c for the US address!!
lastly the evermost troublesome mother in the world..... i got really mad in the office i couldn't even hold it had to yetll at her in front of my coworkers..... i can't believe anyone could have THAT little logic in her head - or maybe none.... this whole tv thing i swear i will never put my hand on it again, if ur so-called friend end up not buying it, don't come to me, i've done my work and you made me break my promise on my friend - don't expect i'll ever help again.... now dad understands why i don't want to have anything to do with her, eventho she's related to me.... just a waste of effort and time and energy to do anything that has to do with her.... and even he agrees with locking up my room when i'm out, so there!

Long weekend
First long weekend after csc, that means I can play! :D friday didn't do anything but sat we went to buffalo! First the traffic was horrible, we kept checking the border wait time through the rim on the way there, thought we were smart enought to pick the shortest wait bridge la, dim ji...... Already stuck before we can even see the bridge! Another stupid thing we tried was going thru duty free thinking we can skip part of the traffic... No! Its worse! So we ended up taking a local road back to the rainbow bridge.... Actually did lunch there and took some pics at the fall before crossing the border... Btw, the line up for the bridge is still bad but if u go from the fallsview side you skip a big chunk of the line up hehehe only took us 20mins while the website says 1hr :)
Someone studied the map and kept asking me for directions at the very last min, then when I am still looking yau rush me, I made the wrong decision jau wa me..... U knew the map well I don't when u ask I didn't even know where we were on the map, nevermind which way to go! Gik sei....
Went to walmart first for 'the order'.... Then target for my hp books :) then walden galleria for the real shopping! Abercrombie kids are soooo cheap! Really good deal on the sale section hahha that's the only plave I bought clothes.. Other than that was vs of course and bath & body works - suprised that they sell kose products there now! I bought a mask :) saw a pair of nice and good price coach shoes - really good for work, but didn't wana pay too much tax passing the border so didn't get them....
Last stop is the outlet mall - nothing nice there at all especially after the mall.... But guess who I ran into there? K j and a!!!! Apparently they were at the mall before too, but we didn't run into each other there...
The guy at the border was very nice, we were all prepared with the receipts and stuff to pay tax but he let us go :)
Dinner at the falls - the restaurant is called tony roma's.... Someone recommended it but we didn't find it that good, fisrt of all super long wait for the food - their famous ribs is not as good as baton rough, their steak is actually not hot enough..... We also got tricked on the sides - beans = canned yellow beans..... Price ma, regular la.. For the amt of things we get le jau cheaper than other gwai lo places ge.....

Sunday went to lunch k with loo ppl! It isn't as fun as nite k hahaha eventho I don't drink... :p thank you thank you for the present I really love it! But I feel bad for making you guys pay so much for it, I know their things are not cheap at all.... Oh and finally cleared all the $$ with them la, t came in to the k room with a chequebook in her hand, ho chi accountant gum hahaha.. Then someone's car battery died and we couldn't leave the plaza until s and g came to rescue.... Jump started the car and finally went to dinner around 10 - the new gal sushi.... Quality the same vut they use silver chopstick instead of wood ones - yes more environmental friendly but not as clean I think, cos we are eating raw food here... So, another long day....
Monday stayed at home and attempted to change al the light switches in the house a really month liu and waste money request by mom.... 1st found out those reversable switches are a bit different so we went out to rona to get some, the realize there are different types - the wiring inside the switches are different so we couldn't get them working anyways.. Went to return them.... And couldn't figure out how the dimmer works either cos no indication which is ground on the thing itself.... There spent 4 hours of doing nothing hahaha dinner was steak - good that I chose ribs at niagara on sat :)
Back to work on tuesday and it was a typical day after long weekend - everything breaks :) spent my whole day servicing the margin ppl for something that's their fault plus big l on how to print a report - turns out to be pop up blocker hahaa
Finaly get to do my own work on weds for the widgets specs and bo report - to get stuff off my own todo list! Took on the softek one as well see see how that goes la..... Life@desk
Spent the day at the desk yesterday, I had no idea how busy they are..... Its like everyone is working on 10 things at any given second... But their things are not very time consuming, usually done and over with by eod - unlike us lol.... But it was fun and they work well together.... Seems like j and a are running the business more than l hahhaa and I learn how comupter iliterate the other people are... J and a are already pretty good :P
V's last night @ tor!!! I kept thinking she's flying out sat a... Meant to meet up with her before she leaves but can't la... Well have fun in hk... I'll miss you - for 2 weeks :)

so what's up?
the weekend.... thanks m for da present, its soooo pretty that i don't think i'll use it, come on... pattern on the lipstick itself! why would anyone dare to use it and ruin the pattern???? :) good that i gave up paradise for gift shopping, or else it'd look really bad if she gave me something but i have nothing to give her... and mo too... ! oh, transformers, it was a GOOD movie, yau plot yau action yau graphics.. hehee i like it~ we had the free popcorn + drinks too, but i drank too much too fast... had to run to the washroom in the middle of the movie.. :P hmm, think think what movie to watch next heheee... sunday was a day at home, oh, rearrange the tv and furnitures (TOLD you guys that's a better arrangement!), book dad's ticket (UA sucks, for their mistake i spent 3 nights calling them just cos my address is too new to their address/directory)....
monday - what did i do... course! :D g was the only one + b left @ the pod... poor guys had to deal with all the prod. issues... you guys did a great job tho! :)

its been 12 days
I've written my csc and passed it as well :) not the greatest mark but doesn't matter as long as I pass! It was their fault to make exam at prime dinner time + no food/drinks allowed... I couldn't help but get outonce I colored in all the bubbles - without double checking the answers....... :P (sorry c for not coming to your 1 month old bday dinner cos of csc, hope you like the doll and the dress!) just submitted the reimbursement - waiting to get my $$ back! So what's next? Cfa? Pmp? Rest first hahha... Immediately bought a book for go train but finished it in 2 days.... At this rate books will become my biggest monthly expense - gotta find a solution.....
I've turned into an old bag, a principal, started my 'downhill' stage of life.... Ok its not THAT bad :P but honesty don't feel as big of a deal compared to highschool years... And that is definitely a sign of ummm.... Yea..... The word that starts with o........ Very touched so many people remembered! Some of them I really didn't expect they'd but they do! And the nice dinners - parents and v/k, dim sum with the waterloo bunch + h's bday, and the gift & ideas.... All I can say is thanks :) btw, I really like the shirt :D
The BEST present ever from pb on my old day.... Actually its been like that the whole month - day and night problems - file permissions x 3, network, blmbrg, the bird..... Every week there is something... On avg I spend 1/2 the week doing support and cleaning up - with big L on my back 'when is my report done?' I got fed up just did it the cheat way... Fix it up later I guess..... I feel sory for j having to deal with all these urgent/one off requests... They expect these very important side tasks takes only 0 second to do cos they asked so last minute - then we divert to those and they expect the schedled ones to be done as well - we ARE only staff and there is only so many hours a day........ J had this really good description of big L - pb machine! :) and I kept saying aiya to him during support, didn't find out until last night that he didn't know what it means hahahahh and and big thanks to l and d for sticking by helping out when v was waiting for me downstairs the other day!
V is leaving for hk next week! Hope she'll have a good time there... Have more fun with g.. Do more shopping spend more $$, and come back ready to boss the coop around! :P

csc study
going well :)
hai ho dor stuff still mei remember, but i think i'm on a good pace..... hopefully won't have any problem passing la hahaa.... i am not as ready as last time have to be honest..... umm, still have to photocopy the study guide, and upgraded the csc check - let's see when they'll show me the new stuff :), and also, took a study day for next fri kakakaa..... thanks k for showing me da page! yea~ :D oh and um... b will be supporting next fri as j is off as wel kakakaa... yes, its your time to pay.. i suffered the past couple MONTHS taking over d and g's job + ur job!!!
the commissions thing is WAY easier than pnl, oh i really wish pnl was simplier... i'm still SO stuck at the math...... while commissions was like "eat veggie" - brainless detective work, feels good when you know what you're doing hahaha...
finally have a water softener at home, but mei install..... i guess it'll be another weekend project with uncle r..... well i don't think i'll be involved but can't wait till its done :)

forgot to say something
might as well start a new entry....
someone stole the spare tire cover on my rav4!!!!!!!! grrr.. all these black people in the neighbourhood... pretty sure it was stolen on our driveway too.... gik sei.... why would an old tire cover be any useful to anyone?????????? so annoying... and mom ALWAYS leave the car unlock when she comes home.... duh! if you lose things + the car, don't start crying.... i have warned you many times already!
so i was so nice to fill up her 330 last night, she gave me the rav4 this morning with the fuel light ON! i made my effort to park the rav4 back into the garage and took the 330 to work, be responsible for what you've used man.... i'm not dad i'm not going to spoil you...... sick and tired of you being the queen in the house, i am old enough to know what's right and wrong and what i should be doing and not..... u do things your way and when troubles come, don't blame me
yet again lur buys food when i'm not there! i'm so going to bug him till he buys me food next time hahaa

back to the BO question that i had since april haha... damn, have to face it eventually.....

Another 10 days
been studying day and night for da csc ga la... Eventho I get distracted a lot hahaha I finished catching up to all 3 tv dramas, which makes no more tv drama for me to bo - I will focus on studying from now on :)
Went real shopping on the long weekend but didn't buy anything... Then k told us there was a sale at jacobs the other day, ended up buying 2 pairs of pants from suzy shier lol, they were cheap!!! :D ah and bought a phone card for dad, he now has a neww cell number (again!)
Happy birthday to w and l - sorry l you guys had to pick the same day to celebrate I could only show up to one...
The 2 day course with that freaky instructor was fun hehee especially fun when the rim keeps going off with production issues kakakaa... SO GLAD I wasn't there :D but big l called me back on the 1st day for bo, sigh, more work to do......
then went shopping AGAIN after work hahahaa.... eaton center, well we couldn't find the stuff we want in sherway on the weekend ma..... bought my flipflops... converse ga, mo the color i like but o wells.... still good :) still couldn't find the abercrombiekids stuff... and then heartland finally got my 2nd set... not the same one i saw before a.. but really mo sai stock la..... have to stick with this one... o wells..... then add gas (holy so expensive $50 wasn't enough to feed mom's car!) and finally ice cream - something i've been waiting for at least 2 weeks!!! (ohoh, btw, i could only do all these because nice B volunteered to stay for support kakakakakka, yes its about time you start doing some work :P)

Its booked!
The csc I mean.... But I booked too late all the computer ones are full :( have to write a paper one and also on a sat during dinner time..... O wells still wana get it over with before the aug long weekend - I already gave this long weekend up fot studying!
The audit thing is kinda fun, some detective work here and there - I am actually glad that j couldn't make the meeting this morning haha... B is so bored I find him starring at his outlook for like minutes!! Funny thing he finally found out I changed his name plate today! I changed it like 2 fridays ago lol.... And ppl think it was G kakakaa.... Btw G drop by today and his currency joke was good heheee...

10 day summary
every entry is a summary now....
it was a really busy week at work last week... demos after demos, finally finished the migration, finally back on BO.... finally get my new paycheque eventho its not attractive at all..... and G is back! the pod is crazy quiet these days..... no fun anymore..... i miss the old days... :(
sadly dad's plan is almost done... i hope he's taking it ok, i try not to bring it up or ask too many questions eventho i honestly am very curious at what's going on.... sigh....
on a happier note, we celebrated celia's bday! the cake was wonderful, hehee... only wish gan and her were here with us.... congrats k on quitting her job! :P
csc is going well.... i finished reading the study guide and of course doing the questions right after the reading is meaningless..... now need to really do the questions and memorize all the formulas..... mid jul is still the goal!
ah, everything about the cruise is set... yes, we're going on a cruise in oct! :D and yes i'm now officially broke... stop trying to spend all my $$ i'm actually trying to save up!!!!

more updates
May 15th was a day of many news...... congrats to the new parents S&G, c is super cute and her eyes are crazy big like yui's!!!! i'm officially a BA according to HR - eventho not getting the BA salary....... :P farewell and best of everything to J... you'll be in the big city in no time - a total different lifestyle and environment, hope you will enjoy it.. and... hope you find a place to sleep soon :) lotsa mixed feelings there, happy and sad, excited and disappointed, just... hard to describe in words.... but definitely a day to remember :)

the whole camera thing and cruise thing was all we had in our minds the whole weekend...... well one is settled now just need to deal with the other one now......
father's day = all you can eat sushi?! that was a first... hahaa, it was good though, maybe none of us had much expectation walking in that's why... the waitresses were all a little weird though..... it was funny how we ordered 2 bowls of soup, 1 came to our table and she took the other one to another table... knowing we ordered 2... :P
hmm, seems like dad's starting his plan....... sad i must say but that's the reality and its better to do it now than keep dragging it...... we'll see how it goes.....

Its becoming true!
Got the official email in the afternoon :) but decided to ask for more.... Let's see what will happen next...... If everything goes well I'll be officially a BA staring monday!!
Hmmmm... I was trying to rank the candidates and I mixed up the two gwai jai... Haha one is the one I want to offer the other is the one I really don't want (he kept saying his parents are cs-ers and have a basement full of cs books :P) so now I really gotta think hard about it! Better not make the wrong decision hehee
The lunch with cdj was good, glad to see them again... That banana choco spring roll was kinda weird tho hahaha duno why the guys liked it :P the other food were pretty good ge.... Duno when will be our next meet up le? Duno when will y get married le? :P
I think I need to be more productive, work is piling up and I am getting scared... They keep thinking I'm doing it to show and to get noticed.. But that is really NOT what I am trying to do... There is just a lot of work and some do take a lot of time to get done.....
My pinned up curtain is actually pretty good - double layer blocks more light haha I might leave it as is.. Increase the chance of me sleeping in in the morning lol... This weekend is last minute moving + cleaning up! Will be busy again....

can't believe it! Its been 10 days
Still no words, no acknowledgement.... Should I ask? But so busy with work - did coop interviews ( thx d for lunching with me eventho there was a fire alarm), btw the coops are good most of them so hard to decide who to offer.... BOBOBOBO that is all L talks about sigh.... S with her endless questions once you step into the pod on a prod issue day..... And the farewell g for good - we'll miss you lots!!!!!! It was a good lunch too :)
Finally bought curtains but mom ng like what I bought - I TOLD YOU TO COME WITH ME!!!!! How many times have I asked you this????????? Now your ople does match the curtain I don't care..... Stealing my jp hair cream and making a mess of it jung yiu keep asking me for it after I hide it - I feel like I am living with a thief seriously - any respect/privacy in this house? I started locking my door when I go to work now... If u had asked me I wouldn't have been this pissed but really mom doesn't mean u can do watever u want with ur daughter's stuff - especially not when she already finished university.... Treat me as a person pls!
Still running back and forth between the houses.... All my stuff is moved but I still couldn't find my jacket.... Must be somewhere in the basement... Dinner is always confusing duno which house has the food - totally ng understand why can't use the new kitchen - another mom's stupid idea....

Finally had dinner with n :) been eating so much lately I'm scaring myself - full meals everyday + a piece of cake every night - cos no one is finishing up dad's bday cake!! (I bought mango cake + paid dinner for his bday as a gift)

Finally bought curtains but mom ng like what I bought - I TOLD YOU TO COME WITH ME!!!!! How many times have I asked you this????????? Now your ople does match the curtain I don't care..... Stealing my jp hair cream and making a mess of it jung yiu keep asking me for it after I hide it - I feel like I am living with a thief seriously - any respect/privacy in this house? I started locking my door when I go to work now... If u had asked me I wouldn't have been this pissed but really mom doesn't mean u can do watever u want with ur daughter's stuff - especially not when she already finished university.... Treat me as a person pls!
Still running back and forth between the houses.... All my stuff is moved but I still couldn't find my jacket.... Must be somewhere in the basement... Dinner is always confusing duno which house has the food - totally ng understand why can't use the new kitchen - another mom's stupid idea....
A million thanks to v for helping with the blinds and stuff without you I would've had a break down long ago..... And shopping with u is always fun, hehee ok I won't say what we did at dinner so your image won't be ruined :P Now only the custom one left... And decision ahas been made so not much to worry about.... How was your long weekend?
Friday - nasty dinner at lion city.. DON'T GO THERE!!! Expensive and ng ho sik..... Move move move fix fix fix - thanks for da help! Oh - going to interview coops on 28th... We only have 19 applicants :(
Saturday - spiderman 3 + tienren... Movie was ok spiderman really can't act.. He reminds me of an actress on buffy though :P drink was good altho not cheap - even the fod was good hehee I ate a lot... O yea the cutain - sigh dim gong le mad yau ng hai really mad, just upset gwa... Already parents ng help... You said go out yau can't think of what to do me sin day if really really nothing else sin go see curtain je... Yat gui "I don't like to go to those places" what do u want me to do? I don't want to force you to go since I don't like doing it either but do I have a choice? I thought you're suppose to help me when I need a hand - not leave when u don't feel like it..... Anywyas la.....
Sunday - more moving and thanks va for bringing over the jp goodies!! :D and help with da cake :) kalbi dinner @ uncle r's.... Yummy scallops hahaha
Monday - happy bday dad! (And doug too) took out the satellite too.... I think we have mostly just kitchen stuff left at the old house.... Since mom still insist on cooking at the old house... Dinner at sushi tei + cake at new house - super full!!!

99% done
For myself at least - only things left at old house are the stuff I hang on the walls and a few fragile dolls... :) tons to move/rearrange at new house though..... And setup the tv dowstars so mom can have some entertainment while unpacking la....
Thingy was posted yesterday so I did my part today - level up! :D now the only quwstion left is if there's $$ up as well hahaha.....
Ah, b started today..... 1/2 day today.... He's ok I guess, should be able to get along since I'll be working with him a lot soon that's very important....
I did something stupid today - microwaved food in a plastic container and closed the lid right after I take it out from the microwave.... End result is: container gets deformed! So, don't ever do that when u ding food :P

We've moved!
Get to sleep in a bit today cos movers are coming at 10.... But we still did a bit of packing before they come la...
Move move move.... 2 something hours to load the truck then we went to buy lunch around 12 while they headed over to the new house..... After lunch yau unload another hour or so (around 2) then I was left in the new house while they went back for the rest of the stuff....
Ho bored for 2 hours a!!! I put my bed together myself - good that it doesn't require any equipment hehee and unpacked all my snufkin stuff :) rearranged the furnitures in my room too! Put on the bedsheet jau ready sai! Too bad couldn't test internet cos computers have not been moved yet... Then 4 something thet came back la....
Btw, the mover guy kept harassing me a.. Got called so many names... Kept talking about his son gum.... I could only smile......
Finally done by like 530.... Then our work really starts... Put the furnitures back together la..... Empty out d baskets for moving more stuff after dinner la..... Dinner at sushi tei - ordered too much food cos I think dad was really hungry and tired..... Then went to new house to unload all my daily stuff + computers... I stayed afterwards la - to unpack ad test internet - suprisingly yau internet!!!!!!!
Dad's car yau got into accident.... Sigh yesterday ga sienna sin die jor...... Good thing only the tire this time....
So much to do still but I couldn't stay up anymore by 12..... Haha I thought I packed everything but I forgot the most important stuff - shampoo + shower gel! Ho choi have new ones :P

Count down
Not much of a count down since ther's only 2 days left at the house I've lived in for the past 12 years.... To be honest yau d ng seh dak.... So is the piano.. So mom finally sold it... I didn't have much feeling even when she put it up for sale... But now that it is sold.... I kept thinking about it.. At least the new owner really really likes it so I know it'll be treated well :)
After a hectic PB day (of course there's production issues when you try to leave early)... Rushed dinner then went to finish up installing the range hood + blinds.... Super huge thank to uncle r - without his knowledge + tools + skiils we would not have been able to do it (never mind so quick!).... I guess the reminder of the work is packing and moving!
Dead tired... I think this will last until we're really settled in....
Btw, thanks j for arranging the lunch :) he's good at doing these regular meet ups!

hei ding!
work is going well with that news... hehee... but still super stuck with the bo performance issue.... stupid H refused my request now i have to find ways to either force him to do it, or find others ways to fix the problem which i'm not sure if i can.... thanks l for the advice - exactly what i found on the forums! and exactly what H refused to do... !!! gik sei...
home ma.... bei someone gik sei..... moving your papers and docs more important ding hai installing blinds in the bedrooms more important?!?!?!? all these, aiya i have to pack and a lot of stuff to move excuses for not doing the blinds.... you're the most free person in the house without a job and you're making me to do them! dol suen lac, you play you talk on the phone all day yau ng pack but you use that excuse DOL SUEN LA....... tell me to do it yau ng give me any specs, how da hell do i know what you want and if they fit your requirements/budget? i ended up just picking watever i like, if you don't like it too bad, you deal with it yourself... plus i have no clue how these things works... now yau buy chor stuff yau yiu refund yau yiu make workarounds.... making things more complicated than needed.... ask you to go with me on sat you used "the excuses" and what did you end up doing at home? talk on the phone and go out to meet with your friends..... honestly i was mad.... i asked her in person which do you think is more urgent she couldn't answer me.... duh! but still she refused to even help...... anyways, i'm done my complaining on this, there are more to it just don't want to keep going...... really really thankyou va for coming out with me.... and s..... sigh....
the range hood was another trouble maker... expensive to begin with - really thanks s for sharing the cost~ suppose to be easy to install i thought? no... not at all..... cutting the wood in the cabinet for the hose..... 3 ppl to hold it up for the install, extremely hard to find the keyholes for the screws.... it toook over 3 hours to install that damn thing..... what a pain in the butt...... still mei done ga, still need to go buy the extension for the hose a...... monday will be another wood work night at the new house.....

the "save l" poster is super funny! so the story is, our big big boss got chosen for jury duty wor.... but he really doesn't want to leave work for that, gum le, ppl are saying he will do something bad so that he won't qualify for the duty la, gum but if he violate the law he'll get caught will end up behind bars... .so they made this poster of him behind bars with the title "save l"... ppl hang them up everywhere on the trade floor and ppl on our team wear them on their neck and walk around the whole day with it... hahaha... SO FUNNY! (see? front office so rich have these kinda money to spend on mo liu things........ us? NOTHING!)
friday after buying the range hood and ate dinner went to home depot for the blinds ma.... as we were walking in.... a couple behind us - the guy said "excuse me... " so i looked back and we looked at each other for a couple secs then said "you look familiar... " at the same time!! then i remember he's kenny!!! frances's supervisor at cibc!! small world hahaa..... turned out he wanted to ask when does pmall close..... and he works for loblaws now.... just very suprised to run into him and he still remembers me... :)

Making a change
Announcements made during status meeting yesterday….. A thought came into my mind, well, an idea I had for a while but it came to me as a good time to raise it up now….. So… made a decision and sent an email (thanks d and s for the support and courage!)….. Nervously waiting for a reply the whole afternoon….
Today…. A little chat in the hallway :) just have to wait patiently for the notice…. Hopefully everything will go smoothly~~!

Nothing special
This entry is about work cos that's all I did yesterday....
The never-ending 5J95 is near the end, finalized the last 2 rprts I missed....
RT talk - ahhh so much coding! I don't want to be involved!!!!!!
Coop - will I go this term? Haha and scare the candidates away with my monster teeth kekekeee
PnL - a word I hate with passion..... My favourite line "who invented this crap?!" Yea need to meet with big L today.. Duno what's on his mind this time...
G is leaving in a couple weeks... Sniff sniff I think we'll all miss him a lot, won't be as fun without him around - hanging shoes on peoples' monitors! Btw we got him back on release night :P
Ohoh! Got tax return :D but they gave me more than what I filed for... Maybe I can't do math properly... O wells :P
Congrats fei jai on passing C# yesterday :)
Hopefully can do more moving tonight... Last night didn't leave till 7... Good thing m was chatting with me hehehee
