its been a while

let's recap..

now the whole floor knows i have a stalker..... lur keeps asking "Hi, Can I be your friend?" in every conversation i have with him, we are working on a reverse stalking on Mr. P though.. wakkaka, google search, friendster search, take pictures of him...we welcome suggestions!!! :P

work is going crazy.. first of all the release.... i took that stuarts thing cos i felt sorry for j, BIG mistake... no one tested the numbers and after release they say the numbers are wrong, slow, everything!! 2 days AND NIGHTS of non stop fire fighting..... yes i didn't make the changes correctly but if you didn't check and tell me before the release, is it really my fault when i don't have the business knowledge to verify the change? nevermind the other support issues that just pops up every day every hour.... never-ending pnl issues, collaterals, bo, can't even name them all... yes its good i'm learning lots and they're giving me lots, i guess i just have to adjust to it~ seems like s is not as welcoming as lur to our team, well, u kinda figure no one would respect you as a team lead if you drop prod tables on the 2nd day of work, and leaves at 4 when there are prod issues, and complain about having to stay for release when you are the lead.... so.... we'll see....

teeth, still turning ><~ had this crazy pain one evening for like 6-7hrs (yes, couldn't sleep well too) and the next morning there's a big gap between the 2 front teeths on the top.... starting to eat better though, the release night we had sushi and i could eat california roll :) dora's farewell lunch i shared a quasedilla with d and i could eat 2 pieces :D

oh, last weekend's hotpot turned into a bbq... which i really had nothing to eat but my own mashed potatoes & marshmallows... :P they played wii too it looked fun.. heheee... but i was so sleepy i went home early....

house! we have the key!! spent a couple days at work setting up new phone and internet acct and looking up quotes for appliances.... finally get to go into the house to do some measuring, discuss on how to put the furnitures and stuff.... its looks very nice the house, yes a bit smaller than the current one but still good, at least i have a bigger closet now! :P there's gona be a lot of work to do coming up.... have to start packing my stuff as well..... and really start looking at csc.....

ran into b on the go train home the other day, he brings up interesting conversations.. and gives me that "dai gor gor" feeling.. hahaa... lately been talking to ppl i haven't talk to for a while, sgg, min, yui, cmm.... its nice that they still remember me.. :)

Back to normal - my mouth - today

btw tim horton's cream of mushroom soup is nasty, don't try it.....

Trying to clean up some of the tasks on my to do list..... Along with prod issues..

The whole pos table got wiped and recreated with no data! (+ 2 other tables too)

PB is slow please advise

Can't approve trades!!!! This is the big one.... Killing processes ng work, updated table manually then run job ng work.. Ended up executing the process manually as well - ho choi they don't restrict ips ja!!!

And to top it off, I have a stalker??????????? Mr. P is really scary, I didn't have time to deal with it as it came in during the whole ism ticketing issue.... But now..... Dim suen????????? I am scared......

so hungry at night that i ate 2 bowls of thick congee :D

A small bowl of congee, I'd say that would take less than 10 spoons to finish normally, took a good 6 hours today...

Getting better

I guess the worst days have passed.... I still look funny and talk funny and can't eat solid food - but at least the pain.is decreased....



Sat morning was still congee-ing... Afternoon jau went out for groceries: yogurt and ice cream!!! But I felt soooo weak just walking in the supermarket, like I'd faint any second.. So we went for tea and I spent like an hour eating a 'milk oil toast' + a milkshake.... :) have to say the yogurt was really cheap tho, good deal!



dinner was minced meat spaghetti - yea right, I had maybe 2 spaghetti then I gave up... So glad we made mashed potatoes also.... Have to say the sauce was really yummy but the mushrooms and onions made it kinda hard for me to enjoy it....



Attempted to fix mom's computer on sunday but no luck... Hehe thank you uncle t in advance la :P a nice and relaxing day at home I watched 2 movies - 'twins thief' and 'sum sheung si sing' - both kinda mo liu just to kill time la...



Work is starting to get busy again, maybe I'll be slow on updating blogger again.... Continuous and qucik context switches all the time... I'm going crazy soon.... Tmr yau yiu meet with big l - so not looking forward to it....



Cancelled weds dinner sorry n since I think I'll still be on congee by then.... And confirmed next sat's hotpot - already thinking what I can eat in the pot + a decided not to come le......Thanks for everyone's care in my situation - someone said this:' you're so good you don't complain much' - u think think who should I be blaming on this? Haha, myself? Yea probably - gum why complain? :P

the REAL monster

this morning went to add braces to the bottom teeth... omg that 1.5 hours of dental work hurt like hell!! >
oh, l is moving soon.. big yellow boxes at his desk... sniff sniff... we're going to miss him at lot.... and, received the k red bomb today :) i think i'll wear the b dress to her wedding hehee...

more congee for dinner..... and maybe until next weekend la.... home mo jor electricity? ho weird le....

still have mom's computer to fix.... i should really do it sunday... since we'll be moving soon, have i said this already? the official moving date is may 16 a~

glad to hear from a that he's doing fine so far.... wish him best of everything with the surgery - i know you are not worried, and your spirit will help reduce other ppl's worrying about you as well :)

a small size soup from soup nutsy - 2 hours to finish (including picking out the clams from the soup)
1 banana - 0.5 hrs
2 bowls of congee without meat - 1 hour

the metal thingy is poking my face which makes thing even worse.... and the separators are pushing my teeth at the bottom super uncomfortable...

meeting with big l - he couldn't understand the problem i was working on, plus my funny speaking - i had to explain the same thing 3 times!!! oh u don't know how hard it was... for me.... sigh..... then ppl at the pod kept laughing and making fun of the way i talk.... oh wells, expected ge... knowing the next release date we all start to really do some work la, getting busier and busier.... so not in the mood of working today cos of the pain and stuff....

I feel like a monster

Been back to the office for a couple days now.... Nothing special except l was the 1st one in on tues (830!!!!), HOUR useless meeting, things suddenly started breaking here and there, and started a 'favour' count on the board for l :P - it started when he asked me for a bo demo to his new ba and said 'I owe you one' - then prdo issue came right away! O and I finaly took the 5J95 task because I feel sorry for the ger... Let's hope these sorry feelings don't come too often or else I'll be severely overworked....



So my big night has come - putting the 'cast' thingy on my upper jaw - wednesday night.... 1st of all we had to wait like 30mins (eventho we had appointment)... Then he taught dad how to turn the thing - have to do it everynight ga... But ho chi I can do it myself with the mirror so that's good.. Then the painful I duno how many mins of drying my teeth - blowing cold air to them and sucking away my saliva - to glue the thingy to my teeth.... Now I have trouble using my moth - including swallowing saliva, speaking, eating, etc. This is horrible! (And that's why I feel like a monster) And to add to it - he SHOVED some separators between the big teeth at the lower jaw he literally forced them in - it hurt like hell.... And they are pushing my already out of position front teeth further out of position - squeezung them together.... PAINFUL!!!!!!!! ><!!!!! As stupid as it sounds I am paying several thousand bucks to suffer like this.....



I have already asked mom to make congee tmr night.......

Easter weekend @ Montréal

So we woke up early and got the car and went to pick up n&s and headed east to Montréal Friday morning……. We got a sonata and they got a Malibu… ours was cheaper on gas… hahaaa

McD breakfast is the regular….. Yummm~~ eventho n said the ham was "fat pig meat"…. Watever… :P surprisingly didn't fall asleep the whole trip there…… stupid hotel wouldn't let us check in eventho it was 3 already, and the shops were open (we thought they wouldn't be) so we went walking around for a couple hours before checking in…. Stopped @ Christy chug's pasta place we went last time for afternoon tea - I had a tiramisu which was really good :), and then split for shopping….. Wah, just that 45mins or so n already got a $200 bcbg dress……. @@" jung yiu late jor made us wait 1/2 hour without saying a sorry…. Sigh…. After check-in jau went to old Montréal - super cold! We should've drove instead of walk…… we saw those " no parking except for my <car model>" signs heheee…. Then went looking for a restaurant to dine at….. Ended up at restaurant something something vieux port.. Its good! Price is not bad too….. With a live pregnant singer….. Then l was too tired for clubbing to we went back to the hotel and play uno… those ppl are crazy man…. Always trigger "draw-4 wars"…. And I was one of the victim…. Hahaaa…. But it was fun… :) oh, and found something really nasty underneath the bed in v's room…. Ewwwwwww!!!!!!!

Next day was the tricky "free" breakfast @ hotel….. Cold food only + no drinks! Everyone fell into the trap of getting hot food and ended up paying $4/person…. O wells, wasn't that expensive.. Plus the tomato was really sweet and fresh :) today is the real shopping day… got a $25 miss60 top - not bad hehee… then found shoes! Omg I finally found shoes!!!! It's a pair of converse… with pads, not the cheapest but its so hard to find shoes I don't care la…… had McD ice cream for tea + food court pasta for pre-dinner (knowing dinner is "expensive & not filling")…. then we went back to the hotel and hea @ l's room…. M's dress is nice too heheee….. They all went to that olvigi mall but we didn't see it le…. I guess opposite direction…. then dinner @ kaizen - a jap/viet fusion place, the food was good but a little overpriced and real jap food is less oily I guess….. Then we decided to head over to the casino to get our free $$ from the hotel deal, which we took an extra 45mins to get to (casino - hotel is 15mins, we took an hour cos we got lost)….. But its really pretty the casino~ we will go again the next day to get the 2nd portion of our free $$ :D after casino was clubbing - Tokyo bar…. Good suggestion uncle f heheee….. Cheap cover charge cheap shooters too and lots of people…. Except someone wasn't really joining the crowd, oh well, not my problem….. Ppl there are so young tho we felt old…. Hahaa…..

Sunday checked out at 12 and went to casino to get our money, this time it was much faster heheheee……. And then went for smoke meat, we're so stupid we lined up for the dine-in line…. Then realized we were in the wrong line after like 1/2 hour…. And had to line up at the take out line again….. Ended up spending like an hour waiting for the sandwich, but it was good….. Not so great that we'd go back for the 2nd time… but it was good heehe…… oh that little "why do we need to go line up, get v to buy for us jau dak la" incident was quite funny….. And gik hei at the same time…… hahaa…. Then we took the wrong route out to tor……. Gave the right map to the other car and ended up driving all the way back to Montréal and went onto the other route again…. Wasted an extra 1/2 hour + gas…. Aiwa~~~~~ ummm… surprisingly no traffic going back in town…. And we had dinner @ "bei fung tong" before splitting… .ohoh! The hotel only charged us 1 parking ticket for the 2 cars, hehehee…. So good…. I think this trip dol ng hai too expensive…. Which is good… :)

Dead tired and found out por por has left us……. Its good for her I guess, don't have to suffer for long before going….. That's it, all my grandparents are gone la……

Mom's accountant yau wa I don't need to claim the tax la wor…grrr.. Made me waited for 3 weeks not submitting my tax just cos of that……. I could've gotten my return back already!

1/4 days @ work

Rewind a bit to the weekend sin…. The hotpot turned out to be jap food dinner, but the food was great, hehee and thanks for the treat~ :D santo's was not bad too the brushetta was good, I really like it… hehehee….. K was k, I sang a lot cos no one was singing… dead tired after that though…… heard more about a's situation, I feel sorry for him…. But then, nothing can be more valuable than life, so…… and its not like it’s a handicap… sigh…. Life is life, what can you do…. Sunday ended up @ markham AGAIN… but went home early cos I really wanted to be home……. Hehehee

Mon-weds = BO Training @ sauga! Had to face that guy again…. This time the course was more useful a, more technical I guess… and the guy beside me just wouldn't shut up.. He had at least 10 questions/topic…. Some of them were good questions, but not all of them la…….. And I ended up helping to teach the class gum, d people ask me questions when the instructor was busy helping the "problem-lady"….. Overall it was good though, hope he will really fax me the notes on how to do avg of avgs la………. Btw, going home for lunch is a really really really good thing, you get to watch tv and always have the "oh I don't want to go back to work" feeling.. Wahahahahaa…… and getting off work before 4 is always a luxury - except when you have to rush home and do support… :P

ohoh the reimbursement was super quick, got it the night of the submission! :)

Tues was fairwell wings night for s, I'm going to miss u lots s!! Be good and have fun @ dallas…….. Come back and bring us "hand letters".. Wakakakaka….. We will for sure have more meet ups whe u come back :)

Finally back to work on thurs with nothing to do and lots to catch up…… then went up to markham after work and get ready for the montreal trip - yea long weekend!!! :D after this weekend jau back to regular working schedule la….. Oh so looking forward to the next long weekend…….

Been hearing from hk family that por por is not doing so well…… and there's nothing we can do……..
