In between x'mas and new year

Once again I've abandoned the diary…. Sorries…. :( let's see what happened since the beginning of the month…. I'll try to stick in some dates so things make more sense la…

9th - Got the hep a/b shot - wah 70/vaccine!! So expensive, ho choi yau insurance jek.. Speaking of insurance, stupid me didn’t know d HSA money will expire by feb so didn't claim it wor….. Afterwards want to claim it back jau super fan lor… but today check jor finally got the money back.. Heheheheee, ah, and also started taking the med la…… other than making me hungry all the time, nothing special….. But that means I got fatter lor…… ><~

3rd - V's bday dinner @ keg! Hehee… finally get to try keg la…. Big girl la~ :P sorry couldn't spend more time with you on your bday le… but I'm sure you're probably filled with events that weekend anyways la…..! 18th - The monthly gathering with v and s, the restaurant is nice the food is nice but the service is very bad lor….. I'd say no service at all la…. Next time le, will be when I come back from my trip ga la…

Signed up for csc exam! Jan 15th is the day…… wah, just 3 days before flying to japan… I better concentrate and stay focus on studying la! Got tons of study material, thankyou thankyou cheap yau and d and e….. Hehehee…. Now I just need to work hard and stop watching tvs at night and spend more time doing the quesitons then I think I will be fine…

Always forget about the Monday lunch time conference call… everytime I leave for lunch g jau remind me.. :P work-wise ma, oh, bonus and raise SUCKS! Big time!! Grrrrrrr…. Mo ban fat…. Cos I'm newbie and I'm easy to "ha" I guess… hmm!! Watch me leave this place after 2 yrs….. Hahahaha….. (dak gor gong ji)… work le, did lots of prod fixes stuff la…. Archives finally done!! But found out can't upload from other machines lor, so weird…. Ng care jue la, spent the past 3 weeks tackling the db locking issue… 15th - 1,2,3 clicks, germany support, ms support, learning about drivers and connMgr and transactions and profiler…… quite interesting but yau d annoying la, taking so long to solve.. Sigh….. Ohoh, finally submitted the vacation sheet! Ehh…. 1/3 of it… hahahaa only submitted 7.5 days - the days I have this year….. Come back to submit the rest wor….. As long as I can go jau dak la.. Hahahaha…… ah, the food bank food drive - crazy ppl gathered money and went to sam's club to buy flour and rice on the last day to win the contest! We went from like 11xlbs to 2xxlbs…. So obvious……..

Fun stuff: 7th - PB x'mas dinner - markham!! My taxi was more expensive than the meal.. The meal was good though, cos l knows the chef…. And we had to sit at the same table, a little scary hehehee….. Then the guys went to some place afterwards, wah, so crazy…… 8th - IETS-PB lunch - such a long/cold walk to spring rolls a…. And v joined too! Kinda weird cos he's not coming back but he came for the lunch…. O wells, 14th - TDSI x'mas party - food was great except for endless lining up lor… sushi and the duck "spring roll" was good :) and get to see b and other ppl as well heheee….

10 th - Dimensions ppl lunch - a giving out wedding card - the card is very pretty o! looks like a x'mas card more tho.. Hahaa…. Congrats la~~ sooo crowded we had a table for 8 but we had 14 ppl, ended up having another table… hehee…. Took the longest time to set a date for the hotpot…. And such long discussion about the gift - end up dol hai individual money suen.. Hahaa…..26th - The hotpot dak 6 of us….. Book jor table for 8 dol yiu wait so long sin yau dak eat wor.. Ended up leaving around almost 11… oh, the "dun dan" was really good… hehehehee

19th - Our extended-family dinner….. Cousins I have never seen in my life……. I have a 9 year old and 13 year old uncle + an aunt same age as me….. Ahh, so messed up! The dinner was super good but the langstaff station confused dad… and mom got food poisoning (from the night before)….. Thanks f for the wine~ so nice of u le…. :) 22nd - winter dinner…. This month hai gum eat eat eat I get full so easily now, but I get hungry very often at the same time……. My system is messed up I think…..

21st - went home early cos got sick la…. Then 22nd didn't even go to work….. E got us presents! Thanks sooo much, that's so nice of her.. And d too! She gave us presents before her day off….. Then k and I went to get her something in the afternoon la…. And also got m a present since s told me she got me one……

23rd - watched "ching yee kuen kuen"… ok la….. secret santa dinner @ stars of thai cuisine - d food po po tung tung la.. Me yau sick don't wana eat so much spicy stuff….. My present was very ermmm… practical! Hahahaha…. Thankyou anyways, for sure I'll use it tho :) 24th - dinner @ v's…. Had to help buying and cooking, still studied in the afternoon and watched "hak kuen"… dol hai ma ma day le…… dinner was good, the shrimp and salmon sashimi sooooo good, oyster fan yi ma ma day… haha…. Gift exchange - mickey cup is cute!!! And the killer game… I almost won!! Aiyaaa…… 25th - drink tea was good, and then attempted to watch "curse of the golden flower" but sold out.. Ended up buying dvd @ fmp and watched at v's… "mak gung" - its good!! But couldn't finish it…….. Still waiting to finish watching it… borrowed "yeh yin" but the dvd doesn’t work….. Oh wells…….. 26th - study in the afternoon and then hot pot as mentioned above lu….

27th - back to work! So lost for the whole monring duno what I was working on and what I should be doing….. Can't believe thai express today dol yau super long line up!!!!! We lined up anyways… it was good… :) ah, tried something new tonight…… actually gei ho wor… can't feel it, except the fact that it has some risks lor…. But I think I'll be ok with it…. Alright….. Let's see when I'll update the next time…….

what happened??? i used to be so good at keeping up with blogger..... sigh......

let's see..... after the upgrade... there was the migration test on sunday - saw liam and kyra! they're soooooooooooooooooooooo cute! heheee.... liam is just like a little g.. :D and kyra.... her head is so big! haha, but she's really cute... :) workwise not much, just crazy OT the past 2 weeks, been taking more and more bus trips home..... makes me sooo tired at night.... the amt of time i have at home is for limited number of things: start bt - dinner - dishes - 1 tv show - shower - 1/2 tv show - sleep......

got put on conference call alone that was kinda scary.... cos l was away, and he was replying emails secretly to certain ppl hahaa...... oh and the l and j war... omg, as a "cc" on the email chain, that WAS scary........ i just kept my mouth shut...... ^^" good that they sorted it out before end of day though.....

other stuff ma.... stuck on the stupid archive page... but finally got about 90% of it done.. hehee, thanks to b's help... and also k's help.... anyways, more stupid trash talks at the pod and learned my lesson on NEVER leave your rim unlocked even for just 1 min!!!! <--- "I" sent an email out saying farewell and offering timbits when i went to the washroom....... sigh...... and year end eval...... went ok, but i should've done more prep for it... oh wells, next time..... e is very nice, result very much as expected la~

ohohohohoh e is super super super nice she lets me get the csc check package!!!! :D thankyou sooooo soooo soooo much! so i've started going through the questions and of course reviewing what i've totally forgotten in the early chapters... hehee... and writing notes..... :D but d said x'mas time ho busy..... might not be able to get a sitting for the exam le, see see dim la.... and m gave up cfa! can't believe her mgmt is sooooooo mean..... !! i'm so glad e is not like that... hehehee... these weekends dol hai study review at home, super harn chin.. wakkakakak

ah, congrats k and d on CA!! wooooo hoooo~~~~!!! :D and helping a to arrange his invitation stuff....... dim sum next weekend~ nice gathering w/ e and s @ korean place, the mushroom hotpot was sooooooo good! except it was huge.. hahaa we couldn't even fit in the black sesame ice cream.... oh, i so wanted it! i know e did too.. hahahaa..... next will be x'mas dinner :) ohoh, speaking of dinner.... met "linda"! hahaha, but she's not too friendly i find... the dinner was really good though, thanks s~ and long time no see the others too....... well, k tmr night :)

oh yea my endless trips to the docs..... apparently i don't have hep a and b so i need to go get the prescription, buy the vaccine, and then go back to get the shot....... but i woke up too late on sat to get to the clinic... and i went to the wrong place for my 1/2 year late composite - yes its finally here! - now the composite part is done cos they close at 8 weekdays, but next weekend yau yiu go to the doc again.. its soooooo far!!!

alright, let's see if i can really write the exam before x'mas....

thankgod for da taxi, or else i'd be in the office from 620 and no one will be with me until 715 g and d both forgot to wake up and didn't get to office until 715! figured out the correct configuration of the query tool la.... but just had to wait for everyone to come in and logon then change the stuff lor... thanks d for da tea and k for da cake :)

thanks r for doing the other migration.... i free-ed up some time to do the pdf problem... and thanks b for the tips... but by the time we have the samples.... there's dev meeting - lunch - conference call - j15 problem - 5jrec problem ....... couldn't even leave until 6.... ><~

yau d upset lor... with someone..... i mean, whenever ppl ask me for notes a help a... i try my best to help them a... and you were one of them whole borrow/took my notes, past papers and watever when you needed them.. i made extra efforts to go photocopy them for you guys during exam time.... yi ga le? i've been bugging and asking for a number of times already and you're just either saying you don't have it with you for the moment or you pretend i never asked gum... even when i say i'm worried because i cant' find any practises.... did i ever do that to you? or even anyone i know during school? i even offered copies of past papers now me ng bring it up you dol ng tell me you have it... and ng sai u copy la, lend to me copy for a day dol ng hai ho gor fun je..... you know, you still hold some of my cs notes...... not to be siu hei, but i thought friends are suppose to help each other out... ? i guess i have a different defnition of friends than you..... anyways, you're not the only person i can depend on.... so next time you want help? don't come to me - i'm just being fair not siu hei!

wah, wake up so early for the blood test.... when i got there at 9 (it opens at 8)... there were already 50 ppl!!!! holy crazy......... anyways, the whole thing was quick..... 2 hours i was home... hahaa excepti only spent 5 mins in the room getting blood taken out to the tubes... :p

finished the mtv movie.... ho choi yau lau yi dat quite funny... hahaa but otherwise super boring..... like i said, its a mtv more than a movie... and kary dim look dol hai ng pretty.. hhahahaa

dinner @ "sik sun" again..... w/ crazy and dai je ming.... food is much faster this time.. :)

busy busy

been getting busier and busier since support started.....
everytime i am about to start dev..... something happens and i'm pulled to do analysis on the issues.....

tues morning jau hai la, traced code for the 5jrec stuff.... afternoon sin kinda find out what might have caused it...... know what to do to correct it..... trying on dev before making the change on prod.... officially confirmed that i've lost access to the kitchen... grrrrrrrr....... well at least i can still go to the washroom

weds ma, meetings and meetings.... yea no release next week! :D and thanks for the chocolate e.... oh, lunched with j & b... it was nice talking to them.. but i feel old, they're all coops!!! when i reported my status... i just said there are all these items i'm assigned to, but due to support - bug fixes, haven't started on them... feel so bad... but i don't wana stay till 8 everynight to do dev wor...... and still need lots of guides/teaching from l on what i'm doing and what i need to know to do it.... oh, and i got my kitchen access back! thanks e~ the only child talk before leaving was funny... hehe i guess no one wanted to do any work after all these talking and meetings...

today... i finally finishd the DTS! haha, thanks v for da mailer :) prod crashed during the ITS meeting - it was sooooooo boring!!! the crash was by me... haha, sorries... estimated the timing wrong.... now i've more things to do... optimizing the query.... the other optimization dol mei do a............ i should do all the small little things first.... makes me feel like i've accomplished a lot.. hahaaa... sigh, more meetings tmr.... bo is starting too..... i think i have a word for my situation - overwhelmed... :P

this morning le... stupid police stopped a car right before the go train station intersection..... traffic backed up all the way to eglington!!! i was so scared i'd be late for the train..... and and..... i parked all the way at the very edge of the parking lot... crazy ga~~~ bin yau gum dor cars ga?!?!?!

dinner @ ninki sushi - i had my regular, hahaa, hamachi kama.. it was good, quite big too.. i was really full..... l ate the most, he ordered a full dinner meal + kept eating the sushi on the boat!!! yet he's soooooo skinny......... some fun talks, these ppl are a little crazy after hours... hahaa. and then we ended up at the bier market..... i was forced into getting a beer...... thanks g for diluting the beer for me... kekeek and drinking 3/4 of it also.. hahaaa..... it tasted like water by the end of it..... which is what i like! :P

Woke up early today to go out a….. Issue plane ticket ma.. Yupyup, the dates are set ga la, now yiu research and plan for japan and maybe thai… so much to plan for so many decisions to make, I'm so glad someone is doing it not me.. Hahahahaa… :P took a super long nap in the afternoon, hak sei, woke up it was 5… I guess I really really really didn't want to study csc…. Night time went for bbt… long time no see k la, she's still always so pretty gum, ng charn ge…. Envy her!! The drink I had was good - honey lemon mandarin orange aloe juice… yumm yumm~~~ and it helped my throat too, by the end of the night I didn't lose my voice.. Hehee….. Such a long day today a…. This morning got sardine-d on the go train - apparently an earlier train on our line killed someone (or that person ran onto the track wanting to die), so le, the 805 train came at 830 - ppl from 2 trains squeezed onto 1 train, even the announcer guy said don't squeeze anymore… sigh….. Felt like hk mtr rush hour….

Got to work, first 2 hours dol hai prep for uat ge, then since lur came back, more dicussion on the projections stuff… found a bug! Tried to fix it before lunch but yau can't have lunch in office because want to purchase plane ticket…. Ended up 130 sin eat, before 2 jau back in the office…. Yea, UA it is, buy jor tix la…… mei fix yuen gor bug yau yiu meeting at 3….. But quickly after the meeting me jau fix jor the bug lac….. Lur said should be ok la wor, gum promote mai d codes to dev jau sorta done….

Ran to marche to get cake for mom - mo tiramisu so ended up with a mango moose….. She ate the thing before we went to dinner! That piece of cake dol ng small ga….. this morning after i put on my contact lens...... i saw something really horrible...><~ there this huge big bug with multi-million loooooooooong legs...... right beside the light switch in my bedroom... ewww!!!!! my hand was soooooo close to it when i turned on the switch this morning... i could've touched it.... !!! ><~~~~~ i ended up electrifiying it with the "din mun pak".... its legs all fell off the body.... wah, ho disgusting a... !!!!!!

2nd meeting - team status update.. aiya need to talk today cos glenn isn't here... and lur made me talk about smtp as well..... hmmmm....

3rd meeting - BO... erin invited everyone by mistake.... hahaa... but ended up only us la... the demo was good, 2 weeks? i don't think so la, we don't even have the h/w yet... we'll see... but this indicates the coming of my rim.... Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!

4th meeting - algo.... sooooooo lost ... @@!! the guy ng ji talk mud, mud mud cube, mud mud beta, std dev, blah blah.... turned into a lionel/algo meeting us just sit and get bored.. with no meat pizza.. hahaa.. ho choi an hour something jau leave dak... :P

didn't sleep well last night... every 2 hours or so jau wake up... have this erie feeling about.. things..... poeple leaving, things not going the way they should be, just, nothing is right...... what happened to the old me.... the one with at least a little bit of confidence in herself...... who used to be independent..... who can take care of things herself...... sigh.....

anyways, couldn't even put on my contacts this morning, wore glasses to work la...... kept testing the smtp stuff, fixed a few.... only 3 left... :) had tofu fish ball hor fun for lunch... not bad wor, they separate the soup and the noodle for take out too.... hehe... umm.. after lunch was the bkr mapping meeting.. aiyaa, my pages got all screwed up!! nothing worked...... but took the time to understand what else needs to be done also la..... gum yau 4 something...... it was the extra form tag... grrr.... ho choi fixed it before end of day..... but jung yau new stuff to add to the page la.... and many meetings tmr and weds..... aiyaaa....

had to wash dishes afterwards...... then in the mood of cleaning my closet jau spent an hour or so cleaning my closet... kinda put away all my casual clothes.... so sad....... sigh.... i need more closet space.......

didn't leave till like 810... ran for the 820 bus.... even henry left earlier than me! :P but tif was working from home... hahaha.... anyways, ended up not eating thd pad thai since i had to ran to the bus..... and met up w/ va afterwards for my kfc pop corn chicken dinner during our movie.... devil wears prada..... it was actually good a, good plot... i guess its closer to our experiences that's why.... i like it.... even tho there were a few boring spots... :)

last night thunder rain mud dol yau.... holy crap...... this morning the sky so dark, i almost slept in.. thanks dad for waking me up at 730... hahahaa......

so, today i just kinda keep making the pages prettier gum... did tell lur lur i'm free but he's so super busy doesn't have time to give me stuff to do..... yup, uat die jor and some other problems as well, even the release is postponed to tomorrow......

hehee... supposed to have this good news yesterday..... but since the cocahing session was moved to today.... i found out today... wakakkaa my vacation.... erin is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice hehee... they're making an exception just for me, and i have to do it in secret too, but ng care, i have 4 weeks, 4 weeks!!!!! (pushing this year's to next year)...... the jp/hk/thai trip should be ok then... hehee..... so happy..... :D and and, i also finally got my voice mail setup..... yup, i finally have everything that a fulltime employee SHOULD have... haha after 1 month + 1 week of work....

went home for dinner since no release...... but i left early still.. .kekee..... was gona go yoga but ended up @ loblaws opening my savings acct (coudn't do it online, so weird.... ) and went snack shopping of course, hagen daz is on sale again!! hehehee..... speaking of ice cream, today afternoon @ td yau FREE ben and jerry's!! we went down at 1230, the line up was sooo long that we gave up.. then someone else got it and told us its only about 5mins wait.. we all went down again... it was soooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!!!

soooo crazy hot today.... what's wrong with the weather?! it feels like HK... maybe even worse.......

me me me FINISHED da stupid mapping thingy la!! wakakakakak.... actually finished yesterday just doing some minor touchups....... and sent the email out for feedback at the end of the day....... during our weekly meeting we got chocolates.. hehee saving it for tmr's release..... and soem crazy prod problems came up and our meeting ran into my coaching session time... so, rescheduled to tomorrow lo..... since i'm officially done my work, i left a bit early to go shop for presents..... yea, couldn't do it during lunch cos meeting at 1 ma..... couldn't find anything for justin i'm sooo sorry.... the keychain i saw was like $200..... but i got a little something for sam... hope she'll like it...

dinner was palm's court with justin them... yup, another person going to seattle..... its nice to see them again... especially sam..... and chris... hehe, if it weren't for justin i duno when i'll get to see them... :P hope everything will go well in seattle for the guys..... have fun there eventho i know it's going to be tough moving out like that... its not waterloo anymore.... and hopefully the next time i see them won't be at their weddings... hahaa......

its getting to the age where ppl around u start giving out red bombs........ omg i'm only 18 (24 in reality)!!!! ><~~~ (hehe, thanks cmm for da "happy 18th bday" you're da best, you're da only one who knows my REAL age *muah*~~~!) back to the wedding..... woke up at 8 to get ready... got to the church just before 10.... and helped out a bit on setting up the reception (at the basement).... i don't know anyone there so it felt kinda weird...... and then the families came..... got introduced.... the part-time joke.... and, i was one the receptionists asking guests to sign on the picture and give out the program, the program is pretty nice actually..... :) but i cut my fingers with the glass "cover" for the picture frame.... didn't even know i was bleeding until my hand touched the table and left some color on the table cloth.... haha.... the church ceremony went well.... s cried during her vow... hehee, it was very touching la..... funny how the maid of honour was the witness for signing the paper... not the father.... and le, got sorta tricked lor... keep telling me to go up for picture... but keep saying wait till next round gum... ho choi someone pui-ed me to take the picture with the new couple at the end... hehee..... (taken @ church)

stayed a bit at the reception after la.... ate a sandwich gum... nothing special... then went to their house for a little bit of rest.... then headed out to get hair and makeup done.... hehe, big big thanks to crazy and biannca.... they're both so pro! 4 heads, 3 faces.... we all look very pretty and elegant when we walked out there.. hehee.... got back so "ah yee" could go change, and we cooked noodles.. then i rushed over to the hotel to help setup reception again..... the guy receptionist finally introduced himself (i was with this same guy in the church this morning for reception, we even took a picture!!!)....

people didn't come until close to the dinner time..... oh, btw, the snacks were yummy haha, and the watermelon something blueberry drink was good too!! we were soooo busy, taking gifts, marking guests, finding their names and their table..... ho choi we got another helper or else..... sooooooooo messy...... i didn't need to help put away the gifts since my seat is close to the front.. hahaa.... the dinner was not bad.... food i mean..... the slideshows and music was good, hehee... took lotsa pictures too (them not me).... and the atmosphere was good, except the girl mc jau cha d lac... :P the whole thing lasted till like 1130... i picked up my projector and went home la... soo tired.....

today sooooo hea.... didn't start turning on eclipse and stuff till like 930.. and by 10 we were at tim horton's..... for like an hour... erin was there too so it was alllllllllll good~ hahaha...

yoga

today decide jor to go yoga... so got off work earlier la... didn't expect traffic is THAT much worse with only 1/2 hour difference.... took me 1/2 hour to get home today... !! and rushed to change and rushed out the door to get to yoga.... class was super crowded too.... 4 rows... bik sei.. haha.... but it was good, i needed the exercise/sweat.... ate wayy too much these days... :P

ah, this morning went to get pineapple bun again.. haha.. and cherries in the afternoon.. yumm~~~ and went to the bank to buy usd during lunch..

james' computer got fried.. poor guy had nothing to do the whole day.... even ronan's computer arrived! haha.... me? mo la la, the zip file works... so weird... anyhow, sent to bo la.... and making progress on da jsp... hehe, just dont' wana get it done gum .... brk info is totally done, just need to do the mappings and error checks now.. :)

had a light dinner after yoga.... still mei fix mom's ipod... bt is more important than ipod.. therefore cannot restart computer therefore cannot fix the ipod.. :P

all these instructions for receptionists.... i think i need to print them out tomorrow, at work of course, haha my first use of the phone was for online tel, now my first use of the printer is for the wedding... lol...

today went to lunch and learn... yfp's speakers series.... thanks d for bringing me there.. hehe a good hour and a half speech + q&a by gluskin (duno if i spelled it right)... he jumps here and there, but other than that.. the ideas and theme was good.. hehee... and there was free food too.. ! which means my lunch leftover from yesterday and the lunch i brought today will be for tomorrow la....

went to work as usual.... emails when i logged on..... group lunch today + jenn's email announcement... she sent that to the whole pb team!!! thanks for everyone's "happy birthdayssssssssss"... hehe and the cards/msn's/sms's, and the lunch (jack astor's... ), and the pretz (glenn... haha), and the cake (choco moose - a bit sweet but still very nice and yummy~)... i had cherries in between the lunch and the cake too.... soooooooooooo full..... basically non-stop eating from 1230 onwards....

got home, of course its the nice dinner prepared by mom.. hehee, shark fins soup, mushroom/ho si/fat choi, veggie, uncle raymond's famous duck, and bday e-noodles.. hehehee yumm yumm~ everything is soooo good i just couldn't eat anymore..... then the cherries - white and red ones, both really sweet o~~~ and then another choco moose cake mom bought from apricot tree.... again very jeng hehee.. less sweet than the one in the afternoon, but still a bit sweet to the chinese ppl's taste.... the sign on it was very pretty.. hehee... thanks thanks.. and thanks auntie bing for da card too... :)

same as last weekend.. hehee... lunch @ new city - corn + fishy rice... ho mei wor.. but the dish is really big, even 2 ppl dol can't finish.... :P skating again... today ho dor little kids a..... they're either the crazy hockey style ones, or the walk 2 steps jau fall style..... quite scary haha.... "elvis" forgot to bring jacket so she was super cold.... we left early....

the original plan was to go to uncle john's house for bbq ge... but due to the weather forecast (6 hrs of thunder storm - which didn't happen)... they cancelled it and we decide to do steak again at home for dinner.... yumm yumm.... this time the steaks are smaller... right size dad said.... and it was really good.... yau d fat beside d meat le, the meat tastes better.. hahaa.....

got a ride from dad to markham as usual..... lunched with titi wor... we almost went to the same place for shopping afterwards tim.. but we stopped @ fairview..... to get the shirt from h&m..... but then, got home to try it on yau ng hai ho fit..... so decided to go exchange it before dinner.......

meanwhile? superman returns! i thought it would be really really good.. but some places were actually a little boring... and not as much action as i thought it would have tim...... but the good spots were good... hahaaa....

what a suprise tonight, i first thought we were going to katsura.... then he said dt.... so i thought, church st la... but he yau said parking far from eaton so i thought aki da..... ended up it was takesushi... hahaa..... if i knew, i would've brought my camera! the food was sooooo good... omg.... it was one of those chef's special thing, they give u food u eat gor jek.... apetizer 3 little dishes - "shun" + egg + eggplant/pork/raddish.... other than the shun everything was yumm~ then the sashimi - northern seabass (+ginger and green onion, sooooo ching!), "kambachi" (fresh!), someother fish slices mixed with some grass taste like sauce (don't like the grass smell that much), crazy oyster (raw oyster + quail egg + uni - u drink it like a shot.. hahaa).... sooooo good!! then the clam soup, super ching but ng hai no taste, ho dak yi.. heeh i like it way more than miso soup.... and then rice cracker king fish... the feel is so funny, like you're eating foam.. hahaa... and with wong wong taste but its fish..... and then steam egg w/ lobster meat in it.... that was good too but very filling! next comes grill shrimp w/ uni sauce... wahhhhhhhhh jeng jeng, and the sides were yummy too - pumpkin and corn/shrimp thingy.... lastly hai the sushi dish.... king crab (scottie said ng gau fresh wor, but i thought it was really good already), scallop(they used the fire gun to heat up the top layer a bit, nice idea i like it too, but i like it totally raw even more.. wakkaka), japanese trout(ma ma day compared to the others, hahaa rather it be salmon), giant clam(crazy fresh and thick!!!!!!), toro("yup hau jik yung" - undingdable.... :D)... finally jau hai the dessert... ng hai green tea ice cream a.. hahaa... it was a sherbert on top of choco mooose with some berries on top...... soooooooooooooooooooooo good!! hahaa, i duno what other words to use..... the sherbert yau d orange/lemon taste..... very fresh... d fruits mix with the moose ng wui sour..... super satisified after the dinner.. hahaa.... price? ng ho gong la.... more expensive than katsura for sure.... :P special occasion sin ho go la.... next time, next time yat ding yiu bring camera sin dak la~~~!!

OHOH! almost forgot to say.. i bought new pillows today.. :)

wah, went to eat pineapple bun this morning... sooo jeng! the "pineapple" part is soooo crispy, the bun is still warm... jung ji jeng la!

thankyou benson and hondy for helping me out with my stupid coding problem..... i spent a couple hours thinking how to do a save all... but decided to go with the save by row for now..... at least to make some progress..... then will think ha the save all dim suen...... hahaa.....

cancelled onlinetel during lunch... thanks henry for the reminder..... hehe.... and i gotta make myself sit properly.... or else, i'll have back problems real soon.......

just when i figured out the sql for the update.... someone cancelled our dinner..... :P mo ban fat la, its not like she purposely did it.. i understand ge.. and we can always meet another time..... but that kinda left me stranded in dt and not able to go home, cos mom drove me to the train station this morning.... so decided to head east..... hahaa, so many ppl line up to buy tix @ union... me almost late for the train.... !!

thanks for the home made dinner, nothing special but the food was really yummy... hehee.... and for the ride home.... :) tmr sik ho yea~ heheee

rewind to the morning sin..... this morning cooksville yau free coffee/muffin a... and the staff were giving out newspaper too.. not the metro/24hr.. but real cost money ge newspaper.. bt i didn't take any.. hahaa.... i had my own breakfast, yau ng drink coffee, and don't wana get my hands dirty from reading newspaper.. :P

work ma... whatever i messed up 2 days ago i finally fixed it.... haha.... the stupid init!!!!!! i'll remember you forever... ><~!!! stuck again..... saving rows of data to the sql... now i know why their pages always have that little edit box on the top....... hmm... i wonder how i can get away from doing that..... u know what, i really suck at programming..... i really need to get it done soon.....

the lunch tooooo msg la... the whole afternoon my tongue feels weird, even after eating watermelon and drinking tons of water.....

goo ma's flight got delayed so i didn't bother waiting for them to eat.... don't wana stay up too late ma.... just went downstairs when they were eating to talk.. she's staying for the night.....

mostly did the bo stuff today.. only spent little time on the code....plus the meeting.... and vee's call.. sigh, suen la, dong help him 1 last time.... he gave a good reference for me ge.... 1/2 hour call.. i didn't expect it'd be that long le... !!

eat myself tonight.... ate the lunch food..... tmr yiu eat something different la... !!

fire drill

as planned went to lunch @ marche with the waterloo people today... good to see them, except hondy didn't come..... phone was setup when i returned from lunch.. hehe good good, i get a new phone and a new number..... just need to setup voicemail later then.. :D

around 3 was the fire drill.... took the stairs down 19 floors in my heels!!!! we get water for going downstairs... hahaa.... but hea jor over 1/2 hour just for that.... ohoh, and bought tix to lotr - rfd deal! hahah..... a chinese thing to do.. :P

near end of work we talked about bo and they gave me an overview of how the tables and relationships are... which is what i need to create if we're going bo..... better than coding!! ended up taking the 7 train.... and had a late dinner.....

finally re-wired the sound stuff in my room..... took out the md deck.... poor thing i'll probably never use it again.......

back to work

nothing special except erin and daneilla were both not in today....

my thing seems to be working but everytime i try to go to the next step, i realize my thing isn't working as it should... sigh...... i hate jsp!!!!!!!!!

wonder when the bo thing will continue........ at least get me away from coding for a bit......

oh my cheques arrived! gave me a chance to clean up my old cheques... all these free cheques from cibc/scotia... haha... i think i'll keep them still.....

vee is asking about his thing.... i want to help and don't want to help.... don't wana show up but don't mind helping..... i duno, need to talk to him... but he called at the wrong time....

hearing some progress on da thing, hope things will turn out the way we hope.... at least then we can last for longer..... sigh.....

crazy thunder/lightning at night power went out about 3 times... for a second each but enough to restart my computer..... and dad's projector was in danger......

skating

today is sooooooooo hot!! got to fmp early.. but dad forgot the keys so had to wait for "gor jai".. haha they call alvin gor jai... :P so funny.....

lunch @ new city w/ da couple.... "elvis" yau si yau d childish.... hahaa.... then we went skating after.... it was fun.. and cool... haha temperature wise... :P one was learning how to skate, the other was learning how to do cross-overs.... i think we will go again next week... :D

went back to fmp to meet up with dad so we can go home together.... hence didn't dinner till like 9.... super hungry therefore yau eat jor ho dor... haha then become super full..... i need to control myself sin dak la....

fiona's bday party!

today totally in coma10 days late.. haha she's 10 la.... time flies..... i met her parents before she was born le.......

dinner was great.. tons of food... !! shrimp cracker, chicken wings, ox tongue pasta, ribs, sausages, fish, corn chicken, calbi, sai mai lo sugar water, cake, "bigger than ur head".... soooooooo full afterwards....

she got a crazy watergun from derek... that thing is so heavy even derek has trouble pumping it... and wing could barely carry the tank..... haha but it was fun seeing them play in the backyard and get all soaked....

dad was very happy/talkative.. didn't go home until 12 something...
