Long weekend

First long weekend after csc, that means I can play! :D friday didn't do anything but sat we went to buffalo! First the traffic was horrible, we kept checking the border wait time through the rim on the way there, thought we were smart enought to pick the shortest wait bridge la, dim ji...... Already stuck before we can even see the bridge! Another stupid thing we tried was going thru duty free thinking we can skip part of the traffic... No! Its worse! So we ended up taking a local road back to the rainbow bridge.... Actually did lunch there and took some pics at the fall before crossing the border... Btw, the line up for the bridge is still bad but if u go from the fallsview side you skip a big chunk of the line up hehehe only took us 20mins while the website says 1hr :)



Someone studied the map and kept asking me for directions at the very last min, then when I am still looking yau rush me, I made the wrong decision jau wa me..... U knew the map well I don't when u ask I didn't even know where we were on the map, nevermind which way to go! Gik sei....



Went to walmart first for 'the order'.... Then target for my hp books :) then walden galleria for the real shopping! Abercrombie kids are soooo cheap! Really good deal on the sale section hahha that's the only plave I bought clothes.. Other than that was vs of course and bath & body works - suprised that they sell kose products there now! I bought a mask :) saw a pair of nice and good price coach shoes - really good for work, but didn't wana pay too much tax passing the border so didn't get them....



Last stop is the outlet mall - nothing nice there at all especially after the mall.... But guess who I ran into there? K j and a!!!! Apparently they were at the mall before too, but we didn't run into each other there...



The guy at the border was very nice, we were all prepared with the receipts and stuff to pay tax but he let us go :)



Dinner at the falls - the restaurant is called tony roma's.... Someone recommended it but we didn't find it that good, fisrt of all super long wait for the food - their famous ribs is not as good as baton rough, their steak is actually not hot enough..... We also got tricked on the sides - beans = canned yellow beans..... Price ma, regular la.. For the amt of things we get le jau cheaper than other gwai lo places ge.....

Sunday went to lunch k with loo ppl! It isn't as fun as nite k hahaha eventho I don't drink... :p thank you thank you for the present I really love it! But I feel bad for making you guys pay so much for it, I know their things are not cheap at all.... Oh and finally cleared all the $$ with them la, t came in to the k room with a chequebook in her hand, ho chi accountant gum hahaha.. Then someone's car battery died and we couldn't leave the plaza until s and g came to rescue.... Jump started the car and finally went to dinner around 10 - the new gal sushi.... Quality the same vut they use silver chopstick instead of wood ones - yes more environmental friendly but not as clean I think, cos we are eating raw food here... So, another long day....



Monday stayed at home and attempted to change al the light switches in the house a really month liu and waste money request by mom.... 1st found out those reversable switches are a bit different so we went out to rona to get some, the realize there are different types - the wiring inside the switches are different so we couldn't get them working anyways.. Went to return them.... And couldn't figure out how the dimmer works either cos no indication which is ground on the thing itself.... There spent 4 hours of doing nothing hahaha dinner was steak - good that I chose ribs at niagara on sat :)



Back to work on tuesday and it was a typical day after long weekend - everything breaks :) spent my whole day servicing the margin ppl for something that's their fault plus big l on how to print a report - turns out to be pop up blocker hahaa



Finaly get to do my own work on weds for the widgets specs and bo report - to get stuff off my own todo list! Took on the softek one as well see see how that goes la..... Stupid d is driving me nuts - why is loanet's problem pb's problem? If u the margin expert can't figure it out how would I know how they calculate things? U are not my boss don't tell me what I need to do, I am just trying to help u out here not working for u... Arggggggh!!!!
