Vegas!

Dec 22 - Friday
finished some last min. packing, got a ride out to markham.... helped someone packed his stuff.... hea for the rest of the afternoon, then lur drove us to the airport at night :) ended up doing dinner at the airport - pizza pizza hehee.... night time going through customs is GREAT! no line up any where hehee, got to the gate within 1/2 hour! arrived las vegas 11ish their time..... its such a nice view landing at the airport... all the lights, and luxor stands out so much with its beam to the sky! took a taxi and got to our hotel - MGM, when we walked in, there was a FLOOD of chinese people in the hotel lobby! omg what's going on?!?!? turns out it was leehom's concert @ MGM that night, and when we arrived the people were just leaving..... :P our room is SUPER ying... haha, good pick - check out the pics, i LOVE the bathroom design! and and and.... there are FOUR chinese channels on TV, F.O.U.R!!!!! omg we were like hogging the tv the whole night even though we were super tired lol

Dec 23 - Saturday
woke up early to the outlet mall (south of strip).... umm feels like buffalo prime outlet gum hahahaa.... found some good stuff @ converse, the tees and the no shoe lace shoes..... but didn't buy the shoes.... found gloves! but want to shop around before buying..... after that we went up to fashion show mall, wahhhhhh we only went to 3 shops: abercrombie (+Kids), rheuls, apple store - not enough time man, have to come back for sure! we both got a jacket, plus check email heheee..... then rushed to bellagio to meet up with j&m for the famous bellagio buffet - which took 2.5 hours of waiting + $4x/person! wasn't as good as expected.... definitely NOT worth the wait + $$ :P after the dinner was O! by cirque du soleil.... we were all falling asleep by the end of it... cos of the jetlag, and also it wasn't very easy to understand what they were trying to express... yes the performers were amazing with their jumps and moves, especially in and out of the water, but.... i didn't get it lol - dead tired by the end of it... went back to the hotel and fell asleep right after shower

btw, the deuce (the local bus) is very slow because there's traffic 24/7 on the strip (las vegas blvd), and walking is actually faster than bus-ing...

Dec 24 - Sunday
continue to shop shop shop! today is the far far outlet mall... some good stuff there, burberry, ballys, blah blah.... and the best is the jap restaurant hahahaa curry chicken rice + chasiu udon - YUMM!! :D came back and headed up to the other outlet mall (north of strip), this one is for sure not as good - decided to buy my gloves but only white ones left ><~ bought it anyways and it was cheap hahaa, retail $60, outlet $40, sale $20 :D decided to go back to the south outlet mall for exchange if we have time.... done the shopping, time for food - found a small restaurant @ venetian - it was really small, maybe max 20 tables, italian restaurant, it was great, the food was really good and not pricey at all! much better than last night lol dropped by the m&m store on the way back to the hotel - and of course took a lot of pics along the way... today is definitely more relaxing than yesterday :P

Dec 25 - Monday
no malls are open today so.... we decided to sleep in :) met up with someone's primary school friend for lunch, oh before that, we went to line up for 1/2 price tix to see if we can get phantom tix for tomorrow, but we lined up for an hour and then found out they were all sold out... :( anyways, lunch @ paris - some baguette shop, good food but no seats! after that we walked inside Caesars Palace, OMG this place is HUGE!!! we spent like 2+hours walking from the forum shops down (south)....... of course with some shopping done lol (banana republic skirts - $3x only! - found out later that its sold at $80 in toronto!) and had to rush to bellagio for our Michael Mina dinner!! on the night of O! we changed the dinner time (we booked 9:30pm online, changed it to 6pm) every single dish was amazing :D we had soup on the house, tuna tatar (they mix it in front of you), lobster potpie (a whole lobster tail inside!), black cod (super smooth and not oily), kobe beef + fois gois (wasn't real kobe but good enough, a whole piece of fois gois not just a paste), desert sampler (a cup of something that tastes like toothpaste lol, warm chocolate cake, coconut pana cotta) - super satisfied! during 1 course the waiter gave us dirty forks by mistake so we asked for clean ones, in the end they offered wine on the house but since we don't really drink, we just got a coke :) after dinner we watched the volcano show @ the mirage - very ging!! we got a good spot too hahahaha forgot to mention there were a lot of very pretty x'mas decorations @ bellagio lobby - of course we took a bunch of pics there too!

Dec 26 - Tuesday
back to shopping wakakkaaka...... first thing first - checked out, stored luggages, and went back to the south outlet mall to exchange my gloves - last pair of brown!! then back @ fashion show mall, this time really walking through the shops + did online checkin for flight the night hahahaha ended up buying more hhee, and the paul frank store is really cool! except we didn't get enough time to shop there.... ohoh and had the baileys' milkshake after lunch - wah super rich but super jeng!!!! after that walked over to miracle mile shops - this mall sucks! todai smells really nice when we walked by so we decided we'll try this one..... but when we went tothe sucky h&m there i found glasses!!! gum had to rush back to fashion show mall to refund them..... got stuck @ treasure island while walking to the bus because they were doing a show - it wasn't that good + ppl were jammed @ the walkway literally no one could get through, we (+ a lot of other people) were forced to watch the whole show..... then someone started not feeling well...... but we had todai anyways so i ate a lot but still for the $60 we probably ate $20 :P back to MGM and got our luggages, then taxi to the airport....... when we were approaching the checkin counter the staff was already calling out our names.... it was 1 hr before the flight and we were the last ones to check in!! duno what the other ppl are doing, there's nothing to do at the airport ga ma! anyways.. tried to sleep on the flight back + the 3rd seat beside us was empty to i lay down heheheee..... thx v for coming to pick us up and driving me home even though it was out of the way :)

that concludes my vegas trip~ :)
