weekend recap

FRIDAY..... in general it was a good day... except near the end of the day j came around and .....

j (to ME): "wana go for a trip?"
me: "sure... where?"
j: "vancouver... tues-weds... blah blah"
b (cutting off j): "OHHHHHHH i WANA GO!!!!!!"
j (to ME): "well you have seniority you get to choose first... blah blah"
b (cutting off j AGAIn): "I'D GO!!!!"
me: "ermmm... fine...... you can go.... ?"
b: "j, who's goin? who's goin?"
j: "xxx, xxx, and xxx, or xxx.... "
b: "oh yea ok, xxx is going, yea i'll go, at least i have him to talk to... blah blah"

not that i really wana go or else i wouldn't have let him go, its the attitude! how UNPROFESSIONAL is that?! first of all sound like a kid cutting off people just to say he wants to go, then treats a BUSINESS DEMO TRIP like a long weekend trip with friends gum asking who's going..... i honestly don't know how j stands him.... sigh

dinner was hotpot @ vc, with only 4 ppl :P but it was good.... :)

then - got back to go train station to pick up my car..... it wouldn't start up! ><~ AND the key fell in between the seats on the way home to find "electric cables".... how "black" can you get... sigh..... thank GOD v was home and she has one at home, so went to pick it up... then back to the station in the freezing cold.... trying to start up the stupid car...... still no luck..... 2 hours of back and forth - finally gave up and go home.... deal with it tomorrow (left the car at the parking lot)

SATURDAY woke up early to call uncle r for help..... they couldn't come till 2pm, so someone came in to have another try with a different car + cable... and it finally works!!! BUT........ it can't start on its own... everytime i turn off the car, i'd need another car to help jump start it...... grrrr..... the line up at canadian tires was horrible!! so ended up driving out to markham to fix.... there goes 1xx bucks after many hours of attempting to fix jump start the car in the freezing cold... ><~ what a day.... after that was visiting used-cars places for some price researches..... then some groceries shopping + simple dinner..... yes i need rest.....

SUNDAY crazy snow and ice over night, i went home after brunch..... very very very tempted to call in sick tmr

MONDAY alarm clock went off... without even looking outside i typed the email... "hi j, i'm not feeling very well today, do you mind if i work from home?" and without waiting for his reply, i went back to sleep... :D a day of music/tv + work... it felt really good hahaha, its actually my very first time taking a day off without having a real reason lol but my left ear hurts.... i'll wait till tmr to go to the walk in clinic - much closer and another excuse to be away from the office!

TUESDAY got to work, went line up for walk in clinic, rushed back to the office for support and rush out again to the clinic - it was 1hr+ wait!! but finally got to see a doc, the same doc from last time, whom i can't hear what he's saying cos he mumbles.... all i got was ".... viruses..... swollen.. ok?... salt water.... ok?.... prescription... ok? byebye... " so i went and dropped off my prescription (another $50 ><~!, and the spray feels funny) and went back to the office...... phone rang from e? no it was from j.... bonus time! omg the number is far beyond my expectation!!! of course the good way...... hahaa..... spent like the whole morning (the rest of it at least) punching in numbers in the calculator..... calc calc calc... talk talk talk... wkakakakakaa..... and b leaving in the afternoon (for van) - what a nice day for me (no constant swearing from my left ear all day long).... :D missed lunch cos of a "already rescheduled but didn't get notified" meeting (seriously, no respect man, i know you're a big guy and i'm small potato, but still, NO RESPECT!!!!!) but the bonus covers this little frustration lol k's been complaining about them scraping her work on the new website, me and l keep trying to comfort her the whole day... hahaa, suen ba la..........

WEDNESDAY
THE WORLD HAS COLLASPED! call from j @ 640AM "smartloan is down, i think the avail file didn't get sent to them...", me (yawning): "ok i'll take a look!"..... logged onto citrix, OMG OMG OMG, the sec master files are NOT THERE!!! usually what happens is they're late, and by the time i wake up (6-ish) they'll be there.. but they are NOT, NOT THERE, CANNOT BE FOUND!!!! after paging EOP found the email from WH (sent at 4AM) about it.... so they know, they are reprocessing everything... sigh...... j went panicking keeps asking for ETA.... and by noon we were still loading algo :P what a morning....... (i still have to add it to support tracker)...... afternoon then was all BO - still can't figure out how to do the last br/ln rate........ oh and a little creative art work session with l on the jay cowboy calendar lol..... can't wait to see b's reaction tmr! dentist appointment tonight and dr. c said maybe i can get the metals in my teeth out 6 months earlier than planned!!!! :D but still have to keep elastics on for the coming month.........

one last thing, HAPPY BIRTHDAY V~~~~~~~~~!!!!! (we'll meet up tmr night :))
