what a x'mas

i expected to spend x'mas on the plane, but i ended up spending x'mas @ ORD..... so what happened? umm.... we were all worrying about the weather delaying my flights..... ended up the weather was super nice, got out of YYZ perfectly on time.... got to ORD fine.... it was perfect - 30mins till the next flight, i was like good - maybe we might even arrive hk a bit early tim! so we started boarding..... boarding..... then suddenly they closed the boarding door!!! so apparently the cargo area in the plane is leaking water.... and it'll take 3 hrs to fix... great..... then they were like, well ok there's another plane just arrived from HK - let's clean that up and fly with that instead - sounds like a good plan? sure..... ended up that plane has door problems, smaller weight limit - they were kicking people off the plane, once again shutting the boarding door before i got on! it was just very frustrating.... so i was suppose to leave ORD at 1230.... when the plane really took off, it was 630! ended up not getting to HK till midnight, missed my boxing day dinner :( there was 1 funny thing during the boarding, they were calling people to board by seating area right.... started with area 1... when the staff made the announcement, no one moved, but when he repeated the phrase in vietnamnese - 1/2 the passengers got up to line up for boarding :P yes, there's a connection flight at hk to saigon... hahaa.. and ppl kept speaking viet to me! do i look viet?!

then, my sore throat didn't get any better even with 1 whole day of no talking - didn't expect it to last so i still went out on 27th, had a very very nice japanese lunch - joke day feel :D walked around and found something i want to get heheee.... went back home to take a nap and then had the "chuen siu" dinner with NC+VC... what a japanese day hehee... but now i have to pay the price.... have a fever + a burning throat..... had to cancel on dad and 2nd luv too.... debating if i should go to the doctor..... sigh, haven't been sick for like a year already!
